The expression ‘Sex Sells’ has always been the hottest sutra in the ad world since many decades. However, that sutra has forayed into the cine circuit in a big way and today, the film industry seems to be thriving only on sex and not on sensible storylines or sensitive portrayal of cinema.
Given the fact that Bollywood is the Baap of Indian cinema, it is being noticed that many film makers are using sex as the recipe for scoring success at the box office. The likes of films like ‘Love, Sex Aur Dhokha’ ‘Ragini MMS’ ‘Murder 2’ ‘Bhindi Bazaar Inc’ etc are few examples that raked in Moolah for their makers.
Tradition has seen that south cinema tends to draw inspiration from Bollywood. As a result, few folks here are now digging out erotic flicks made in south style and are getting them to the screens. The Tollywood folks however are taking the shortcut route by importing such type of films from Tamil and Malayalam and making their money. Time for some ‘Kama’sutra folks!!
