Rajamouli, Vinayak: Back to their Best

Rajamouli, Vinayak: Back to their Best
These two names are most exciting to read at any given point of time. Surely SS rajamouli and VV Vinayak are the directors who raised the standards of Telugu BO to high level with their extreme heroism projection. All the way, many assume that their real skill is yet to come out in the form of many more like ‘Magadheera.’ Apparently both of them are maintaining low profile presently due to their respective projects. But, by this year and we are going to catch them in best combinations that have the capacity to shake every Tollywood record.
Yes, a fact every body will agree about the nuclear potentiality hidden in composition of rajamouli & Prabhas. This film is to start by end of the year. On the other hand, even there is strong news in market about Vinayak joining Ramcharan or Junior NTR. Either of these heroes is competent of delivering never seen BO wonders. If our assumptions go hand in hand, we are to witness two extra-ordinary movies from these two directors in next year. In simple, these jodis can be considered as the best of Tollywood.

Confirmed: He is one to beat Magadheera

Confirmed: He is one to beat Magadheera
One should have to agree that movies like ‘Magadheera’ will happen once in a while and anything planned to overtake this film will only end up as foolish attempts. While ‘Shakti’ and ‘Badrinath’ proved to be the fit examples, avid movie buffs had their own guessing game on which combination could prove fruitful on par with the combo of rajamouli - Ramcharan.
A recent discussion in a film distribution office with senior most trade examiners in the group have come up with interesting director-hero combos who can possibly put a fire to ‘Magadheera’ records. Though guessable, they are either rajamouli – Prabhas or rajamouli – Pawan Kalyan or Rajamoul – Mahesh Babu. Earlier there were hopes on VV Vinayak being a strong contender for a position but confirmed that it is rajamouli alone who can beat his own records. Of course hero is the other name that varies. Well, this one seems to be a common opinion among many.

Rajamouli Under Pressure For Badrinath

Rajamouli might not have faced this sort of pressure earlier. He is facing with 'Badrinath'. You may wonder what the connection is.
Allu and Co is projecting 'Badrinath' as second highest grosser. Although the Press Notes are coming out frequently no one believes.
Hence Allu Aravind is thinking to make this announcement through Rajamouli. It is known that Keeravani scored music for Badrinath and Rajamoilu is Keeravani's close relative.
Keeping all this point of view Allu Aravind is thinking to invite Rajamouli in next Press Meet and ask him to announce figures and say that it's on par with 'Magadheera'.
We have to see how Rajamouli escapes from this lying trap. People are not ready to believe anyway. Rajamouli loses his credibility with this.

Rajamouli cautious with 'Badrinath'

Rajamouli cautious with 'Badrinath'

Apparently it is rajamouli who sculpted the sensational flick ‘Magadheera’ and the same person seems to be frightening now looking at his creation. Yes, there is a strong reason behind this. All those films made recently with heavy budgets and socio fantasy elements are assumed by public to have been targeted on ‘Magadheera.’ From ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu’ of Surya Prakash till ‘Badrinath’ of VV Vinayak via ‘Shakti’ of Meher Ramesh, the intensions of producer and directors are unknown but common audience always viewed and compared them with epic ‘Magadheera.’
This might be the reason why expectations were sky high and all three were declared big failures. Now, the next most anticipated flick on cards on the range of ‘Magadheera’ would be the combination of rajamouli and Prabhas which is to get started by end of this year. Though rajamouli might try his best to keep hype and analogies of his movie away from ‘Magadheera,’ yet he needs to be very much cautious given the result of ‘Badrinath’ is taken as a fresh example.

Telugu cinema topnotch director Rajamouli is shooting comedy scenes for his upcoming movie Eega. Rajamouli's upcoming Eega is bilingual movie which stars Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in lead roles. Rajamouli's Boothulu For Nani's 'Extraaas'

It is often said that S S Rajamouli is a completely different person when he is on the sets. He is strict, he is tough, he is scary, he is non-compromising and brings shivers to the unit members in terms of work. So, it is obvious that if anyone tries to act smart, the tough taskmaster knows how to cut them to size.

Unit members reveal that this is something which actor Nani tasted recently. The unit member of Rajamouli’s ongoing film ‘Eega’ revealed “It looks like Nani is still walking three feet in air due to the success of ‘Ala Modalaindi’. And he tried to show his extraas on Rajamouli sir by trying to advise him on scene compositions and camera angles.”

The member added “But in no time, our director told Nani to mind his own business and focus on his acting than directing.” While that is the buzz from ‘Eega’ camp, the film nagar folks who heard this are seconding this by saying Nani’s attitude is cheesing off many in the industry.

Rajamouli's 'Eega' suspension drama!

Rajamouli's 'Eega' suspension drama!
A talk is doing rounds in Film Nagar that ace director SS Rajamouli wants to drop the plans of 'Eega'. Already, 60% of the movie is finished and a talk like this is really a shocking one.

According to grapevine, Tollywood's top director Rajamouli is unhappy with the way 'Eega' is shaping out. As the expectations of audience is very high on this graphics oriented flick, Rajamouli fears that he may meet his 'first flop'. On the other side, insiders stated that there is nothing sort of such fears regarding 'Eega' for Rajamouli. The realistic looking CG work is taking huge time and that is the only reason for the delay. Till date, Rajamouli is the only director in Telugu Industry with such consistent track record of delivering hit flicks. Let us hope 'Eega' will not put any full stop to his record.

Rajamouli Vs Vinayak Vs Meher Ramesh

Role models and inspirations are a common feature in the film industry. And the common statement you hear from many aspirants are “I want to become a director/producer/hero like him.” Well, right now, there are few noted names in the Tollywood directorial circuit and an analysis of sorts has been chalked between them. We are talking about S S Rajamouli, V V Vinayak and Meher Ramesh. Each director has their own calibre but what if they were to be compared, lets see..

According to a recent opinion taken from the cine fraternity and the audience, the unanimous feeling is that for Meher Ramesh to reach the league of V V Vinayak, he must take atleast 100 steps. For Vinayak to reach the league of Rajamouli, he must take atleast 200 steps. The best example for this hypothesis is their recent flicks - Shakti, Badrinath, Magadheera respectively. It is obvious that Ramesh’s Shakti, Vinayak’s Badrinath have been inspirations from Rajamouli’s Magadheera but Rajamouli’s inspiration is his own.

Keeping inspiration aside, for becoming a successful film maker, it is important to have indepth knowledge of the subject chosen, attention to detail, giving the right kind of dramatism to each scene, involving the audience into the film right from the start etc. these are few qualities which Rajamouli holds to a large extent and that’s why he has a strong connect with all genres of audience. As for Vinayak, he has good command over the pace of the film but most of the times, his content is masala oriented with many cinematic liberties, this appeals to the commercial audience.

Meher Ramesh can be tagged as a good technician but not a good story teller. His films like ‘Kantri’ ‘Billa’ ‘Shakti’ show a fair amount of technical standard but content and narration is really stale. Moreover, there is often a mass flavour observed in his treatment despite coming up with regular family oriented flicks.

Overall, Rajamouli has set a new benchmark be it family, commercial or mass oriented films and it can be said that Vinayak to an extent has the potential to reach Rajamouli’s standards. But Meher Ramesh needs a good amount of grooming if he has to make a mark as an efficient movie maker.

Vinayak failed to analyse Rajamouli

Vinayak failed to analyse Rajamouli
Normally any director would come under high tension and get shaken physically when dealing with heavy budget flicks anything above Rs.35 Crores. In addition, if we have some body like Allu Aravind as producer and given the task to direct a film on par with the standards of ‘Magadheera,’ we can understand what could be the situation of VV Vinayak and what could be the position of ‘badrinath.’

Yes, we very well knew as what Rajamouli commented about Geetha Arts and Allu Aravind after the completion of ‘Magadheera.’ ‘I would never wish to work on this kind of colossal projects in future. This film is once for all in my career. Actually none of the directors would love to take the pain which I have undergone.’
Given the budget, number of working days, the magnanimity, kind of storyline…on every aspect, target of ‘badrinath’ will be to reach ‘Magadheera’…which might be done wantedly or unwantedly. Does this mean that Vinayak is also subjected to same kind of mental pressure as Rajamouli? This would certainly assert to Vinayak's failing to understand and analyse the stressed words of Rajamouli as said above.

Of course, it is the final result that matters. Let us wish that ‘badrinath’ stands on equal platform with ‘Magadheera’ or even a step above. Good luck to VV Vinayak and his team.

Rajamouli's Next With Pawan Kalyan

Just like Ramgopal Varma, there is a brand that director Rajamouli is creating for himself in commercial cinema. While demand has been high and many of the top league heroes and heroines keen on working with him, it is heard that this tough taskmaster may well be having one hero in mind for a new project.

That is Pawan Kalyan. Apparently, Pawan is busy with shooting of his new movie tentatively titled as ‘Shadow’ in Calcutta. Sources reveal that Rajamouli went all the way to the city to casually to see the shooting. Those who know Rajamouli closely confirmed that usually he doesn’t.

Meanwhile, there is also another update that Rajamouli spoke with Pawan privately after dropping by in the sets. All this is leading to only one logical conclusion that a film might be on the cards. However, those who heard this say that the combo of Rajamouli- Pawan Kalyan is good and this will rock at the box office. Let us wait to hear the formal announcement though.

SS Rajamouli's Bollywood Plan With Aamir Khan

It appears that a new fad has picked up in the Tollywood circuit. Usually, it is the actors especially the heroines who are always keen on landing in Bollywood and striking it big. But lately, they are being joined by the heroes as well and already we have seen the likes of Daggubati Rana and Sundeep Kishan.

Now, another category is joining this list and this is the directors. While Ramgopal Varma set the trigger with his strong presence in Mumbai, it is now heard that even S S Rajamouli has begun to move his cards. Sources reveal that Rajamouli is planning a film with none other than Aamir Khan.

For now, Puri Jagannadh is already there, Harish Shankar is likely to be on the way and it looks like even Tollywood’s top director may also make a foray if his project with Aamir materialises. If this happens then the chances are strong that the Telugu directors’ gang will make their presence felt in a strong way. With the likes of Salman showing interest in Telugu flicks, Tollywood sure has got closer to Bollywood.

Heroines' Sentimental Love For Rajamouli

He is not a superstar nor is he a hot sensation for the girls but still heroines tend to drool over him. It is not just about the admiration for his talent but there is also an element of sentiment attached to it for the starlets. We are talking about the ace director S S Rajamouli.

It is heard that the tough taskmaster has become the hot property for heroines for a very good reason. Apparently, a film with Rajamouli will change their fortunes and catapult them to stardom. We have seen the likes of Kajal Agarwal, Saloni to quote as the classic examples.

Even the filmnagar folks who thrive on strong sentiments believe that if Rajamouli’s mark falls on any heroine, she is bound to have a great career. As a result, many heroines have been doing their best to grab his attention on them for sentimental and successful reasons. At this rate, Rajamouli is surely a step ahead of even the top league heroes.

Is Rajamouli Afraid Of Media And Police?

Director Rajamouli has always been applauded for the macho way he projects his hero onscreen. Given his genre of films, many expect him to be a man of steel nerves and iron will. However, it appears that all this is only for the reel life and not the real life.
Well, that seems to be the topic making rounds in film nagar. This was after the incident wherein Rajamouli’s father S S Vijayendra Prasad was reportedly manhandled by the ex-MLA Chengala Venkat Rao. Many were expecting Rajamouli to rush to the situation but he was nowhere to be seen.
A source close to the director revealed “Rajamouli has not gone to media or police, he is calm and tight lipped about it. He is not even allowing any media people to ask questions.” With this, many are asking what is happening for real and due to this, different stories are making rounds on Rajamouli. Perhaps it is time for the director to come up with his reaction.

SS Rajmouli ‘Orugallu Rudrama’ with Anushka

SS Rajmouli who is currently busy with Eega in which Nani and Samantha are playing lead roles is now planning to do a heroine oriented movie with Anushka.
As per the recent news, Rajamouli is planning to do a movie based on the story of Rani Rudramma Devi. He choose Anushka to do lead role. The movie is based on a biography of Rani Rudrama, who belonged to kakathiya dynasty. Now the latest news is that, this sensational project titled as ‘Orugallu Rudrama’.
Anushka earlier did a heroine oriented movie Arundathi under the direction of Kodi Rama Krishna and got huge success. If everything goes well Rani Rudrama will hit the floors after Rajamouli Eega and Rajamouli Prabhas combo.
Earlier, Rajamouli had declared that he will do a movie with Prabhas after completion of eega. So, the movie with Anushka would be after Prabhas movie only.
On the other hand Anushka’s two Tamil movies are ready to release this summer. one is Vedam remake Vaanam and other is Vikram’s movie Deiva Thirumagan. Apart ffrom this Anushka has also signed a movie with Nagarjuna which is titled as Damarukam and a movie with Prabhas which is titled as Rebel.

Attack On SS Rajamouli's Father!!

In what is being deemed as a shocking and confusing incident, the noted story writer/director SS Vijayendra Prasad, father of the noted director S S Rajamouli has alleged that he was manhandled by former MLA Chengala Venkat Rao and the DCP of CCS Satyanarayana. A petition has been filed at the Human Rights commission seeking action on this.

Apparently, Vijayendraprasad’s version is that he was forcibly dragged from his home early in the morning and was stripped at the police station. Later, he was physically attacked in the presence of Venkat Rao and was forcibly made to sign cheques worth Rs 60 lakhs and released later in the afternoon.

While Vijayendra Prasad is not willing to comment on why this issue has cropped up on the first place, he maintained that this was pure violation of human rights and demanded prompt action must be taken. On the other hand, the media circles report that the suspected DCP has quashed this as mere allegations and nothing more. Only time will tell what the actual problem is and how it will be resolved.

Problem Between Mr And Mrs Rajamouli

Well, there is a problem between Mr and Mrs Rajamouli. That’s not bothering the couple but onlookers are discussing about it.

While Rama Rajamouli looks younger in dressing and the way she moves, Rajamouli is looking older than that of his age. He never cares about graying hair and beard. He also takes less care about his overall look dressing as well. But Rama Rajamouli makes herself look younger that that of her age. This mismatch is bothering the fans of Rajamouli. “Why cannot he match the looks of his wife?” is the discussion every where.

Many say that Rajamouli walks on the path of Keeravani who never cares about his physical appearance. Rajamouli is just 37 but looks older, that is the problem for his fans!! But indeed, his ever ending successes brought him immense glamour that no other film director in Tollywood has. Same implies to Keeravani as well.

For men, it’s the success that brings glamour. But for women glamour brings success!!

Rajamouli Bought Film Story @ Rs 60 Lakhs

S S Rajamouli is one director who has been bringing radical changes to film making, film economics and technical standards in Tollywood. It is obvious that many consider him to be a powerhouse of talent and creativity. However, a recent incident has raised few eyebrows and mixed reactions on Rajamouli’s gesture.

It is known news that the tough taskmaster has got a project with hero Prabhas. Inside sources reveal that the story was actually written by an Osmania University student. So, he is a ghost writer and it is heard that Rajamouli has paid Rs 60 lakhs and silenced the issue.

The chances are that for the screen credits either Rajamouli will give his name or his father’s name. While some are surprised at this, many are positive about it. They say “Even that is also great. The integrity of Rajamouli must be appreciated and a student getting Rs 60 lakhs is not a small thing. The film industry is a crooked place where many want to work to be done freely but Rajamouli has set an example with this.”
Well it’s not the story that brings money at box office. It’s the execution part, that’s very crucial. Rajamouli is ever successful in that aspect.

Can you identify these STAR Directors?

Can you identify these STAR Directors?
You might have got it right or wrong, then let us explain. Director SS rajamouli is made to look like NTR. Yes, it is true. All it happened at the birthday bash of producer Yarlagadda Shobhu and Lakshmi. All of the guests who attended the party were made to dress in 1970’s style and rajamouli was made to resemble NTR.

‘Everyone burst out laughing looking at each other. Couldn't remember a time when i laughed so much. Funny thing is we set out to make me look like NTR garu. But i ended up looking somewhere between krishna garu and sobhan babu garu,’ tweeted rajamouli. Obviously the white beard man besides Jakkanna is hopefully Raghavendra Rao. Star directors in the get ups of star heroes.

SS Rajamouli's 'Debut Onus' After 'Eega'

Perhaps the key reason for the nonstop success of director S S Rajamouli is his tried and tested method of functioning and a formula approach which doesn’t change for anyone. One such point is that the tough taskmaster never goes in for a debut of a hero. Buzz is that Rajamouli sees a hero onscreen and basing on their acts, he begins to sketch a role.

However, if grapevine is to be believed then the chances are that Rajamouli may have to make a small amendment to his format. Apparently, news is that Naga Babu who has been on his toes to introduce his son Varun Tej to cinema has approached Rajamouli to take up the onus of Varun’s debut.

Currently, Rajamouli is busy with ‘Eega’ and sources say Naga Babu is persuading the ace director to launch Varun. For now, buzz is that Rajamouli has not consented but cine folks say if that doesn’t work then Naga Babu should try and persuade the director for Varun’s second project atleast so that a bumper hit can be registered like ‘Magadheera’ or ‘Chatrapathi’.
