The Anushka and Akkineni saga continues

Anushka and Akkineni Nagarjuna can never be separated not only on the screen but also off it. Nagarjuna never gets bored of casting Anushka time and again in his films and the actress too is making the most of it by putting 'relation' with Manmadhudu to good affect. They both have been the best fodder for gossipmongers for quite sometime and the recent one to make headlines is alleged engagement of Anushka with Naga Chaitanya. Earlier there were rumors that Anushka and Nag parted ways after IT raids on them on the same day. It was rumored that one of the documents of Nagarjuna claims that Anushka is his wife. Anushka was upset with those raids and news reports and stayed away from Nag for sometime. However, she has committed to do couple of films with him and she is right now doing the honors. Although gossipmongers say that all is not well between them, Anushka and Nagarjuna along with Amala were seen smiling to the cameras. Are they acting or have they really sorted out their differences?

Nagarjuna says Sr.Mahalaxmi is better

'Mahalaxmi' is the word that triggers many emotions in the handsome face of withering star Akkineni Nagarjuna. In spite of his advancing age, the star-hero wants to plan a tough competition even for his son Naga Chaitanya. In the process, a journo put across him a question asking which 'Mahalaxmi' is the one loved by him. If you remember the character name 'Mahalaxmi' in Nagarjuna's 'Ninne Pelladatha', then you will easily know what the answer will be. Nag revealed that it is ultimately actress 'Tabu' to strike a chord with him always in the role of Mahalaxmi. Naga Chaitanya's 'Mahalaxmi' Tamanna is rated as a gorgeous girl by Nag before praising Tabu among the two. Young romantic star Chaitu is surprised by his dad's answer as the journo got amazed at the sight of those two, then. It looks like Nag has a permanent place in his heart for Sr.Mahalaxmi. Is Amala reading these lines?

Akkineni fans worried about Allu Aravind

'100% Love' is doing exceptional business all over and Akkineni fans are more than happy with the outcome of this film. They are also content with the promotion of Geetha Arts. However, there is one factor that is worrying them. The release of 'Badrinath' is just around the corner and they fear that would affect the business and run of '100% Love'. 'Badrinath' is a magnum opus made on huge scale whereas '100% Love' is just a medium budget movie. By the time 'Badrinath' arrives, '100% Love' would be in profits and there is every chance for Allu Aravind to focus more on his son's flick and put Chaitu's film aside. There are ample chances for 'Badrinath' to replace '100% Love' in almost every center as the latter was released in theatres that are under Geeta Arts control. Akkineni fans are expecting '100% Love' to reach next level and increase the market potential of Chaitanya. Hence, they wish that this film runs for many days in most number of centers. Promotion should play a vital role for that to happen. But will Allu Aravind and co. spare time to promote this small film at the peril of their high budget flick?

Massive fire broke out at Nag's Rajanna sets

A massive fire broke out on the sets of Nagarjuna's film 'Rajanna' on Tuesday. The fire has burnt specially erected sets of a village and a bungalow at Jubillee Hills. Luckily there were no reports of casualties, as the shooting of the film has been halted recently. Reports say that the incident happened because of an electrical spark, which damaged equipment and sets worth Rs. 50 lakhs on Tuesday evening. It is said that the fire spread in no time, as the sets was erected of plaster of Paris. According to the sources, Major part of the films shooting at the sets has been completed but some key scenes are yet to be shot. Now, it is not sure whether the makers of the film will erect the sets again or change the location of the shoots. 'Rajanna' is based on the life of a freedom fighter who fought valiantly against the oppressive upper class during the Nizam regime and lay down his life. Nagarjuna informed us that the script of 'Rajanna' has stuck to the pages of history to impart originality. The movie is going to have dialogues in Telengana Dialect as reinforcement to the pre-independence backdrop. Nagarjuna and Anushka have teamed up again for this magnum opus. Sensational director Rajamouli has shot few fight sequences and songs for the film. Rajanna is directed by Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad.

Nagarjuna disappointed with '100% Love'

Insiders are saying that hero Akkineni Nagarjuna is quite disappointed with the outcome of Naga Chaitanya's upcoming flick '100% Love'. Director Sukumar, who carved a niche for himself with the kind of creative angles he deals with is said to be the reason.

Apparently, Nag wants to launch Naga Chaitanya in such a way that he gets much applause like Jr NTR and Ram Charan. However, his debut flick 'Josh' was unable to project the deserved mass hero image to Chaitu, while 'Ye Maya Chesave' made him a lover-boy of Telugu Cinema. Nag's worry is that many lover boys like Uday Kiran, Tarun and Siddharth has no big deals in their career while heroes with mass-centric status are rocking in the tinsel town. Sukumar projected Chaitu one more time as a lover-boy with slight mass feel, is what it appears from 100% Love's teasers. Nagarjuna seems to be desperately looking for a 'Shiva' kind of stuff in Chaitu's life.

ANR=MS, Venkat=A, Nagarjuna=L

The Akkineni family is one of the most sought after and talked about families in the cine circuit. Recently, there was a discussion that took place among few cine members. This was about the three key members of the family – ANR, Akkineni Venkat, Nagarjuna.

The inference of the discussion was ANR was a ‘Mukku Sooti’. He comes up with point blank statements right on the face and there is not much ‘Loukyam’ in his thoughts and words. As for Venkat, it is believed that he is neither a ‘Mukku Sooti’ person nor a ‘Loukyam’ filled person, they say he is more of an ‘Amayakudu’ (Innocent).

As for Nagarjuna, he is a full of ‘Loukyam’. Apparently, folks say that he is clever, knows how to get his work done in an easy going way. He doesn’t have enemies and has a way of handling people the way he wants. With his smiles and smoothie talks, Nag is few steps ahead of the other two, is the common feeling.

Well, that’s why we see Nag multiplying his properties and growing many times bigger than his father in financial terms.
