Dasari's Commission Of 22 Chitrapuri Flats

The bonding between Dasari Narayana Rao and Tollywood circuit needs no introduction. He has been part of some of the crucial and significant chapters. Recently, one such incident which happened few years back came to light and showed a different side of the Darsakaratna.
 
It is heard that once Dasari Narayana Rao during YSR time did a favour to the government. Happy with this, YSR reportedly asked what Dasari wants. The veteran reportedly mentioned about the Chitrapuri colony which is very close to Lanco hills and requested if the government can cater a 32 acre extra land adjacent to the existing allocated land, to the cine folks.
 
Apparently, YSR gave it and since it came through Dasari it is heard that he gave a proposal to the cine folks. Dasari reportedly said “Leave 22 units for me and the rest you take care”. This involved all categories like flats, duplex homes etc. The film folks said yes. Now, it is heard that Dasari gave those 22 units to who are close to him and are in tough situations. As such, he didn’t do any commercial deal out of it and this has set an example.
