Genelia's Bommarillu in Ritiesh's Heart

Hasini of Our Telugu Film Bommarillu is now officially the wife of Ritiesh Deshmukh. They were united as a couple today through a wedding ceremony in The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai. With this marriage, one of the most talked about romantic stories that had many twists came to a happy ending. To be frank, this story is really a filmi one, with many reels having protests from parents, suspense moments and some thing like reaching a court case too.

    Now 24 year old Genelia and 32 year old Ritiesh acted together for the first time in a 2003 Ushakiron Movies film 'Tujhe Mere Kasam', a remake of Telugu Film 'Nuvve Kavali. The Cupid played his part from then on itself. People say their romance blossomed from then on. However, they decided to play it cool. Though they were seeing each other regularly, the love story was kept a secret, in the true love story style. However, when newsmen sensed the fragrance of romance between these two stars, they first cried foul and denied it vehemently.

    Then when it became too evident, they announced their love for each other, only last year. But the story took a different turn here, with Ritiesh's father, the Ex- CM of Maharashtra, Vilas Rao Deshmukh denying permission to Ritiesh to marry a Konkani Christian Girl like Genelia. And then Genelia started saying that Ritiesh and she were only 'just good friends'.

    But suddenly last year, some thing different happened in the story. On a set for the film 'Force', it was stated that a real priest was called for a shooting of a wedding scene and all the rites including taking seven sacred steps round the fire, exchanging of flower garlands and even actual tieing of Mangal sutra were performed. People present on the set and outside were saying that because all the rituals were so authentic, that Genelia and the Hero of the film John Abraham really became wife and husband.

   But when the wedding proposals of Genelia and Ritiesh started pouring in again, the Purohit, who performed the 'marriage' on the set felt offended and went to the office of Producer Vipul Amritlal Shah complaining that Genelia can not marry Ritiesh, because she is already married to John Abraham. But Shah refused the claim and termed it as publicity stunt. In all this ordeal, Ritiesh stood solidly behind Genelia. By this time, even Vilas Rao Deshmukh, father of Ritiesh came to terms with the reality and blessed the lovers.

   And there was the marriage today. Shall all we congratulate the couple and say now Happy Married Life to the Newly Weds!!
