The key point is that Junior has decided to give free call sheets for the film without remuneration to cover up for the losses of ‘Shakti’.

If this is true then it will surely save a good deal for Ashwini Dutt, say cine insiders. On the other hand, the buzz is that it will be directed by the Kollywood specialist K V Anand of ‘Rangam’ fame. So, if the film becomes a hit then that will be double help for Dutt from Junior. Ashwini Dutt Condemns London Gossip

Producer Ashwini Dutt has burnt his hands once again by coming up with the much hyped ‘Shakti’ and though the entire blame is on director Meher Ramesh for messing up, even Dutt became a victim of few gossips. Notable among them was that Dutt along with his family went to London unable to bear the torture of the distributors.

This news was making rounds in media circles strongly. However, the big producer has come into open for web media and reacted to it.

He has reportedly shared his thoughts with his close group and said “I feel anguished on hearing this news and condemn it strongly. I don’t run from anyone, all know who I am. Since I am answerable to all in money matters, I am able to stand like this in the film industry. I am in touch with distributors and they also know what I am. I pray the media don’t write like this and spoil my family reputation. I am openly saying whether the cinema is hit or flop, I will take responsibility. When we don’t have a problem why the media is creating trouble?” Dutt reiterated that he has not gone anywhere.

Will Dutt Get Mega Dates Again?

Ashwni Dutt is known for two good reasons. One is for setting successful on screen combinations while the other is for doing great films with Chiranjeevi. He also made Ram Charan’s debut film ‘Chirutha’. But not known what bug had bitten him, he wanted to make ‘Shakti’ in competition with Magadheera. But that turned out to be the biggest mishap ever known. But still, he promoted that by comparing with ‘Robo’ which became another comedy of the season.

Sources say that Ashwini Dutt developed a hiatus with Chiru family after the announcement of PRP. Ashwini is TDP Pro and hence things didn’t match between the two.

Ileana gives death blow to Shakti

So far the amplitude of Shakti’s disaster is uncalculated. As heroine of the film Ileana turned against the director Meher Ramesh, devastation is to be further increased. Movie is released on April 1st and miserable run is still continuing with decreasing crowds at all theatres. The total collapse of 'Shakti' made Ileana to open her mouth. Confusing story with no head and no tail is to be blamed on Meher Ramesh. According to Ileana, when she is not satisfied with the final outcome of film, how could she promote it asking the audience to go and watch the film? That is why, slender beauty stayed away from publicity sprint of 'Shakti'. "I wasn't positive about 'Shakti', so I didn’t speak much about it in any event. I'm not a hypocrite to smile and tell people to watch the movie, when I myself not convinced," says Ileana. Meher Ramesh's first characterization narration to Ileana is completely different from what he portrayed in the film. Addition of too many other things spoiled it and Ileana is unhappy with this. "Before signing on the dotted lines, story of Shakti was different. During the shooting everything changed. Differences between narrated ones and final shaped up ones are clearly seen on the screen," said Ileana giving the death blow to 'Shakti'.

Ashwini Dutt Ran Away To London

Producer Ashwini Dutt was seen all over the TV channels and newspaper ads recently. The reason for that were the larger than life statements about his movie ‘Shakti’ which was slated to be the costliest film ever made in Tollywood. Despite several signals from the start that the film was not shaping up rightly, Dutt was upbeat and gave massive statements.

Anyways, ‘Shakti’ has come and became a colossal disaster. Now, it is heard that Ashwini Dutt and family are not around. Well, all of them went to London, say sources. This is not for a success holiday celebration but it is heard that they are unable to bear the torture of distributors and are in total depression.

One of the affected distributor revealed “Dutt made his money so he can go to London with his family and relax. But what about people like us who trusted him and spent all our fortunes, where can we go?”. Dutt has come up with an ad in the Andhra Jyothi newspaper and this time, he was referring to his recent offering ‘Shakti’. Incidentally, he was doing a comparison of ‘Shakti’ with the blockbuster hit ‘Robot’ and was praising the graphics of ‘Shakti’. He also stressed that the audience has been receiving ‘Shakti’ very well due to the high technical standards on par with ‘Robot’.

In all this, many made an observation. They said “Why didn’t Aswini Dutt draw a comparison with ‘Magadheera’? That would have been authentic as the flick was proper Telugu product. It appears that Dutt seems to have got into an ego thing with the ‘Magadheera’ camp since it is produced by Allu Aravind. As it is, comparing ‘Shakti’ with ‘Robo’ is the biggest joke of the decade. Sad to see a great producer like him showing his ego in newspaper ads too.”

They trapped him by prompting “You are the only one who is capable. Even Ramanaidu is not that gutsy to take big risks. It was you who lifted the other community, can’t you do it for our own people?”.

Like this, a series of meetings and head massages continued and this led to Aswini Dutt going ahead with ‘Shakti’ and that too with such an exorbitant budget, as per sources. The result is bitter.

NTR Fans Furious On Aswini Dutt??

It is heard that NTR fans are unhappy that their favorite star’s film is releasing on April 1st. Actually, it was declared by producer Aswini Dutt during the audio release function that the release was on March 30th. It is known news that April 1st happens to be Fools Day worldwide. Incidentally, March 30th is Wednesday, April 1st is Friday.

The comment from fans of other stars is that if the film releases on Wednesday and is not good, then the makers fear it will be removed from theatres by Friday, that’s why the release is postponed to Friday. This has become a headache for NTR fans.

As if that is not enough, the ads of ‘Shakti’ are being sponsored by Image hospitals in Hyderabad. Therefore, in every poster of ‘Shakti’, there are ads of Image Hospitals attached which is leading to a flurry of satires and comments. This is annoying NTR Fans a great deal. Due to all this, the fans are very annoyed with Aswini Dutt, as per sources.

But then, like Aswini Dutt predicted if ‘Shakti’ becomes a super duper hit then no problem. Since there is no proper hit this year so far, let us hope ‘Shakti’ becomes a hit.

Aswinidutt plans a grand release of ‘Shakthi’

Aswinidutt is planning to release his magnum opus ‘Shakti’, the highest budgeted film of the Telugu film industry so far, with NTR and Ileana in the lead and directed by Meher Ramesh on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies, in a very grand manner.

The film is being dubbed into Tamil as well and would be released simultaneously in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The Tamil version would have 200 prints exclusively for Kerala.

The Telugu version would hit the screens with over 1,000 prints across the state and the producer is planning to cash in on the grand opening day’s collections.

As per indications, the producer is planning to grab at least Rs 25 crore during the first week of its release. It is learnt that the film would be released in over 225 theatres in Nizam area alone.

Aswinidutt is planning to release in as many number of theatres in each centre and collect more revenue at any cost.

Let us wait and watch whether Shakti would fall flat after the opening week, or sustain and create more and more records in Tollywood.

Ashwini Dutt Brings 'Heart Attack'

Big films with big budgets tend to bring in big demands and not always do they work in the Tollywood circuit considering the current economic conditions. However, it appears that producer Aswini Dutt is having no qualms about selling the rights at a higher price.

It is heard that Dutt has been creating a tension environment for his ambitious project ‘Shakti’ touted to be the costliest film ever made in Tollywood. Sources reveal Dutt is demanding a whopping Rs10 crores for the satellite rights. As expected, no one is coming forward, as per sources.

Sources also reveal that the remake rights are valid for only 10 years. A very famous distributor mentioned “What is there to give so much, let us see when it releases, even ‘Magadheera” got only 5 crores as the fee for satellite rights. Don’t understand how Aswini Dutt is expecting such a fortune for this one.”
