Luckily director KV Anand, a photo journalist by early profession got producer RB Chowdary and hero Jiiva in his film ‘Rangam,’ the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil ‘Ko.’ The flawless attempt from Anand is immensely attracting the audience in South. Being a Tamil version film, people initially found tough to digest in Telugu but now movie picked up significantly going for full houses in weekends in all Hyderabad theatres. Producer RB Chowdary having understood the flavor of film suitable only to alert audience has changed the publicity from mass media to web media. Instead of repeating the same ad in Television channels spending high amounts, Chowdary has creatively targeted few websites which are regularly visited by astute audience to promote his film. Banners of ‘Rangam’ are seen exclusively placed in these websites. Looks like a clever business action plan from the tasteful producer. Less effort more profits. |
