It touted that, movie is remake of Bollywood industry hit movie 'Dabangg' where Pawan is donning a role of powerful cop while Kajal Agarwal is playing female lead in it.

Yesteryears actors Harikrishna and Jayasudha are essaying roles of father and mother to Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh movie. Ganesh Babu who produced Pawan Kalyan's recent movie 'Teen Maar' is producing it. Devi Sri Prasad is composing movie for this movie.The makers of the movie are planning to release Gabbar Singh movie for Pongal 2012.

According to a story heard in Film Nagar, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has given a 'mega' punch to an ace Bollywood hero. Quite calm and composed Pawan is known for his involvement in the script and takes care of it from end to end. Currently, one of Pawan's next projects is a remake of a superhit Hindi flick which in turn is a mixture of several Telugu film stories. Regarding the same flick, this top Hindi hero has advised Pawan about the characterization of the role.
