RGV adamant on 'Bezawada Rowdilu' title

Controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma is adamant on retaining the title “Bezawada Rowdilu” for his forthcoming film, notwithstanding the protests from various sections of people.
Varma denied the reports that appeared in a section of media that he was changing the title of the film to “Bezawada Kurrallu” following pressure from political leaders, civil society groups and local people of Vijayawada.
“I don’t care about people who criticize me for the title. I don’t succumb to any pulls, pressures and threatenings. I am not going to change the Bezawada Rowdilu title under any circumstances. I vow on Goddess Kanaka Durga of Vijayawada that I will stick to my stand, come what may,” he said.
The shooting of the movie, starring young actor Naga Chaitanya, son of popular star Nagarjuna has been going on at a brisk pace and is all set to be completed in a couple of months.

RGV raking caste politics in Tollywood

RGV raking caste politics in Tollywood
Ram Gopal Varma got new weapon to publicize his 'Bezawada Rowdeelu'. The dangerous Vijayawada rowdy politics are surrounding the film and very soon media may blow out of proportions on casting of the film linked with caste politics. The cine folks say, real life character of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, hero of Bezawada Rowdism is taken up Naga Chaitanya in 'Bezawada Rowdeelu'.

When Ranga is an icon for Kapu caste, leaders from the same community are boiling their blood on Ram Gopal Varma's discretion in selecting the Kamma caste Naga Chaitanya for a Kapu character. As Kapu Mega Star Chiranjeev's son Ram Charan can be the correct match for Ranga in the flick, Bezawada Kapu leaders are questioning on the selection of Chaitanya. How well Varma uses this caste controversy to promote his film is to be seen.

Aspiring Director fears RGV's 'Khabja'

Aspiring Director fears RGV's 'Khabja'This 'khabja' is not related to any land of Hyderabad's real estate business. RGV's Khabja is nothing but literally lifting scenes and storylines from Hollywood flicks that are unknown to Indian audience. Now, one aspiring director is shivering due to another new style exploitation of director Ramu.

Those who are close with Ramu can understand easily that he is a good story teller but a bad script writer. Ramu never excelled in the department of Script Writing and is said to be exploiting young writers for the same. For example, when RGV promised a writer couple Dharma-Raksha with a direction chance, they came up with a script titled 'Rakta Charitra' and RGV announced this to public too. However, the pawns were changed prior to shooting's start making Ramu to direct the movie and the guys who did the script are simply out of sight. Insiders say that, as the script sounds interesting for its daring attempt, Ramu felt that he should bag the credits.

Off course, this is history now and here is a latest entrant who fears Ramu's Khabja attitude. Vivek Krishna, an associate of RGV is the man who penned the story of 'Bezawada Rowdeelu', while RGV is just a producer of the flick. As per sources, Vivek is in a tricky situation until the film’s shooting starts, as RGV knows how to sideline aspiring directors for his own benefits.
