Rahman's Oscar Awards are purchased

Rahman's Oscar Awards are purchased

A R Rahman made entire Indian Nation to feel proud when the moment he won Oscars for his work in Danny Boyle’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ Is this music from Rahman worth winning the prestigious awards? Was there any fishy matter happening on the back stage? Fresh allegations by popular music director Ismail Darbar raise many doubts in Indian music director community.

‘If Rahman deserves an Oscar for music then it should have been given either for ‘Roja’ or for ‘Bombay’ and certainly not for ‘Slumdog Millionnaire.’ I smell something fishy in the whole thing. It is just a speculation and I don’t have any concrete proof. Even I am not doing this for the sake of publicity,’ said Durbar who is most popular for sensational music in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas.’
‘The whole world is watching Oscar Awards selection committee live on TV. I wonder how anyone can hope to influence as many as 3,000 persons to get those awards,’ reacted A R Rahman to the allegations of Ismail Darbar.

Ramu- A R Rahman Going For A Sequel

The combo of director Ramgopal Varma and music maker A R Rahman happened nearly 16 years ago when they came up with the blockbuster hit in Bollywood ‘Rangeela’. Now, it is heard that both are teaming up once again and yet again, this would be to recreate the same ‘Rangeela’ magic in the form of a sequel.

Recently, Rahman launched his biography and sharing his thoughts, he thanked his mentors but took the name of only one film. That was ‘Rangeela’ and RGV who was present amongst the special guests was reportedly touched by Rahman’s words.

That’s when the idea of a sequel flashed in his mind and it is heard that he has expressed the desire with the Chennai Mozart. Ramu reportedly said that ‘Rangeela’ was a significant film in Rahman’s career and the mention of it flooded him with memories of that music. Let us hope this dream team comes together once again..
