Rana's Next Film Title 'Rajni'
Sources say that there have been plans for Rana’s launch in Kollywood in the direction of Selva Raghavan. The film runs on period back drop to some extent and the budget is really a gigantic figure. Suresh Babu is intending to produce the film but calculating all ifs and buts in this project. The inside sources say that the tentative title of this project is ‘Rajni’.
Well, that’s sounding interesting indeed. While Rajni Kanth’s latest film on period back drop is named ‘Rana’, it’s named as ‘Rajni’ for Rana Daggubati’s film.

NTR and ileana will never act together again?
Don't be fooled by their on-screen romance. It is now reported that actors Junior NTR and Ileana are spitting fire at each other, causing a huge tumult in Tollywood.
The two who starred in Aswini Dutt's Shakti, which bombed at the box office, have vowed to never work together again, allege sources.
Trouble has been brewing for a long time now. Sources close to the actors claim that they constantly accuse each other of being arrogant. It is said that Ileana doesn't even shy away from expressing her hatred towards NTR in her conversations with filmi friends. The two acted in Rakhi a few years ago and it is alleged that they refused to get along from day one, causing the movie to suffer. Now, things have taken a turn for the worse.
Critics who trashed their on-screen chemistry in Shakti are being told that their hostility towards each other on the sets took a toll on the film. Sources close to them are laughing about the fact that the fight scenes between their characters in the film are the only realistic ones since the two actually quarrelled on sets.
Ileana's hatred for NTR took a public turn when she openly criticised Shakti, calling it a "bad" film. The actress was absent during the movie's release and she allegedly kept herself unavailable for publicity activities on purpose. The fact that NTR is notorious for his mood swings didn't help matters. It is said that he is "unfriendly" with most of his leading ladies. "Ileana hates NTR and doesn't even talk to him on the sets. She comes out of her van when the shot is ready, only to go back soon after. Ileana hates people who smoke around her and NTR deliberately lights up in front of her to annoy her. The only reason Ileana signed up for the film is because they were paying her `1.5 crore," said a close aide of the actress.
Industry sources reveal it is Ileana who will suffer if the matter isn't resolved soon. There's already buzz being created by NTR fans, demanding that she be banned from Tollywood. Ileana is now treading on thin ice, sources add. "Since her movies in the last one-and-a-half years flopped and her statements against Shakti didn't go down too well with the Nandamuri camp, most producers are opting to cast Trisha, Kajal or even Samantha instead of her," said the source.

Apparently there was nothing sensational about this flick but declared as hit by trade circles. Pawan Kalyan impressed by the energetic treatment of Harish Shankar gave him a quick chance to remake 'Dabangg' as 'Gabbar Singh'. However, Pawan Kalyan reportedly told Harish to add his own style rather than repeating the mannerisms of Salman Khan. Instead of rehashing the basic scenes, Harish added few punch less dialogues which are leaked to media two days ago. With no strength and power in these lines Pawan Kalyan is known to have shown irritation on Harish Shankar not to do any extras, instead work calmly without spoiling the flavor of 'Dabangg'. It is to be seen how far Harish can impress Power Star with his quality work. |

Their life takes a turn when they discover a loot in a local train. Then there is Saawan (Sundeep) whose aim in life is to enter into the Mumbai juniors cricket team. However, he realizes that fulfilling his dream comes at a cost, he must get the kind of money. Then there is Abhay (Sendhil) who considers Mumbai to be his home only to realize that he is all alone in this big bad city.
What happens to their lives? What does destiny have in store for them? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Tusshar Kapoor has come up with a delectable performance and it is a sharp contrast to the roles that he did recently. He fits the bill properly but then he should develop some more expressions on his face.

Sundeep Kishan has given an energetic and confident performance. He has ease, style, screen presence, so potential of getting future offers in Bollywood exist. He dubbed voice by himself perfectly fitting to the Mumbai nativity.
Sendhil Ramamurthy gives an impressive act. His natural abeyance with the character involves the viewer in a good way.
Nikhil Dwivedi was natural, Pitobash was good, Radhika Apte was ravishing, Preeti Desai hot, Girija Oak was sensuous, Amit Mistry was apt, Zakir Hussain was fabulous. The others did their bit as required.

Sachin Tendulkar’s Mumbai Indians landed for their yesterday’s match against Rajasthan Royals four days in advance.
It is learnt that the Little Master was keen to visit Ranthambhore to see the tigers, but had to stay in Jaipur for a commercial shoot at a palatial bungalow called Kothari House.
Tendulkar shot the ad in the vast garden under a Peepal tree where in 1973 the late Sathya Sai Baba held a discourse. He sat under the shade of this huge tree, remembered Sai Baba and also met some cancer patients who came to seek his autograph.

The Television queen says Indians don't have to go to movie theatres to watch sex. "There is lovemaking, but there is no sex in our films. I personally believe in our country, if you want to see sex, you can go online and download it for free. Why would someone pay Rs.50 or Rs.100-Rs.200 for a movie ticket just to watch sex?," said Ekta. Referring to her movies, she said: 'There is no sex in these films. But in none of these films do we run away from sex". So now comes 'Ragini MMS', about a couple who go for an adventurous weekend and get filmed by 24 cameras amid some paranormal activity. This will be followed by Dirty Picture, which traces the life of sex icon Silk Smitha. "I can easily tell you that none of these films is high on sexuality. In fact a lot of our films where they show dupattas flying and deep cleavage, have a lot more sexuality. The difference is that they show it in a covert, more hidden way,' said the daughter of Bollywood's veteran star Jeetendra. Behind the Movie Nenu Naa Rakshasi: Director Puri Jagannath known for commercial blockbusters brings us this new venture with still to prove Rana and gorgeous Ileana in the lead. As all three are standing at crucial stage of their careers respectively, the long delay in release of this flick has almost killed the enthusiasm of audience. Let us see, what Puri actually wants to say about ‘Suicides’?
In the Movie Nenu Naa Rakshasi: Abhimanyu aka Abhi (Rana) is a professional shooter who takes suparis from a mediator and kills local gangsters for the sake of money. He falls instantly in love with Meenakshi (Ileana), working in a cafeteria. In the same flow Vikram (Subba Raju), is local Circle Inspector on a special duty to track down the Youtube account of ‘It is My Life Boss.’ This account deals with shooting and uploading of suicides happening in the society but with a purpose behind.
Time comes when Abhimanyu decides to go for a suicide and calls up that particular Youtube account creator. After narrating a small flashback as why Abhi wants to commit suicide, he finds that the girl shooting his suicide episode is none other than Meenakshi. Now, Abhi decides to live for the sake of his love.
Some how Abhi saves his life and starts to impress Meenakshi to find the reason behind operation of such Youtube account. Mean while Vikram succeeds in tracing the identity of Meenakshi and tries to arrest her for spreading the criminal suicidal thoughts in mankind. Obviously hero Abhi escapes her from police. In the same stoke, gangster Ratna (Abhimanyu Singh of ‘Raktha Charitra 1’fame) on a revenge with Abhi starts chasing him.
Abhi and Meenakshi fly Venice to save their lives. Here is where Meenkashi decides to commit suicide narrating the depressing flashback of her sister Shravya (Ileana). What are the flashbacks of Abhi and Meenkashi? Why Abhi killed Ratna? How and when Meenakshi understood the love of Abhi? forms the climax.
Values of the Movie Nenu Naa Rakshasi: Puri Jagannath known for mass storylines touched a message oriented line this time based on suicides. Unfortunately Puri missed all the basics in narration including the characterizations of leads. Direction went on pathetic lines no where keeping the audience connected to story. Screenplay had numeric loop holes which isn’t the actual style of perfectionist Puri. Dialogues from this man were helpful in providing statistics for those preparing a thesis on suicides. Jagan tried to annex punches of his natural style which worked out in two scenes on Rana. Cinematography of Amol Rathod was faultless while editing by SR Sekhar demoted the actual concept. Music from Vishwa and Rahman isn’t that effective including the background. Production values of Bhavya Creations are appreciable for showing confidence on this half cooked subject.
Performance wise Rana again didn’t get enough scope to establish himself as a full fledged actor. He looked manly in stylish costumes but stiff body language and expressionless face did the harm. Many a times Rana effortlessly tried to follow mannerisms of Venkatesh. Ileana is gorgeous even without any makeup. She got a role of performance orientation and goods are delivered. Subba Raju as Vikram is an apt match. Abhimanyu Singh excelled with his cruelty and terrifying yet cool facial exposition. Comedy between Ali and Mumaith Khan is most vulgar and disjointed. Among others, Ahuti Prasad, Kota, Nagineedu are mere guest appearances.
Out of the Movie Nenu Naa Rakshasi: Puri Jagannatha is a man known for heroic punches and effective narration. What went through his mind in selecting this story line is not at all understood. Basic purpose of the movie to give a preaching on suicides is sidelined. “Suicide is not a permanent solution for a temporary problem.” Message is fine and helpful for youth to find some bravery. Lacking of pace, lengthy boring scenes, ineffectiveness in delivering the message affected the final output.
Strictly speaking, ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ is like a documentary message oriented film with commercial masala padding. Climax is unjustified making Puri to take the total blame. Characterization of Ileana went absolutely worthless with a weak climax. Necessity of going for filthy comedy in this kind of flick is truly questionable. Influence of Ramgopal Varma on Puri Jagannath is distinctly felt in many scenes. Nenu Naa Rakshasi can never become a commercially viable film. None of the audience would like dilution of serious subjects based on ‘Suicide.’ Once again Puri continued his weak form while Rana and Ileana may not find any respite.

Jeevitha-Rajasekhar cry, attack Jagan
After keeping silent for the last couple of months, actor-couple Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, as expected, have come out of YSR Congress Party floated by former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
On Friday, the couple broke down in front of the media saying they had been completely ignored in the Jagan party.
“The only ambition of Jagan is to become chief minister of the state immediately. He wants to be a monarch in the party and does not want anybody to get focused. He was envious at the way me and Jeevitha hogging the limelight at his Vijayawada deeksha. Since then, he has been keeping us at bay,” Rajasekhar said, bursting into tears.
Rajasekhar said they could not get enough recognition even in the Congress party, despite their selfless service.
“We were invited into the Congress by former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy only to take on Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi. We were asked to campaign in the constituencies, wherever the PRP was strong. We ensured that except in one constituency, the Congress had won in all the constituencies, where we had campaigned. Now, the same Congress party has invited Chiranjeevi to merge his party with it,” he said.
By attacking the Congress and the Jagan party, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar had given enough hints that they would be joining the TDP, which is also desperately looking for star appearances.

Harirama Jogaiah to make film on Satya Sai
Former Narsapuram MP Ch Harirama Jogaiah might not have had a successful stint in politics in the last three years after deserting the Congress to join the Praja Rajyam Party, but he has decided to test his fortunes by returning to film production.
Jogaiah, who is presently producing a film – Telugammayi with Saloni (of Maryada Ramanna fame), is believed to have decided to make another film based on the life history of Bhagwan Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi, who passed away on last Sunday.
The film titlted “Satya Sai Mahima” will be directed by noted film maker Kodi Ramakrishna and is all set to go on to the sets very soon.
Another film on Satya Sai Baba is also being planned in a big way by Anita Bajaj and A K Sidhu. It is going to be a multi-lingual film, to be produced in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and English. It is meant for international release with a view to spreading the message of love and humanity, given by Sai Baba.
Hansika Without Blouse And Topless?
Hansika is now a noted figure in Tamilnadu with her latest film beside Dhanush. The media has spread news that she is going to do a topless role. The film ‘Aravan’ is being made with the backdrop of 1750 AD.
“To meet the nativity of that period backdrop, Hansika is acting without blouse. There are few natural scenes in the film as per the script where Hansika has to be go topless from back while bathing in a river”, mentioned a few Tamil and Kannada dailies as well.
But that is not Hansika. She is Dhansika, a Tamil heroine who acted in ‘Perenmai’ earlier. Media got mistook and Hansika is on fire for this topless news.
Dhansika must be a lucky lady who got free publicity as her name is sounding close to Hansika. Probably she may be giving a darshan on par with Mandakini in ‘Ram Teri Ganga Mailee’. Vasantha Balan is the maker of this film.
Mahesh Fighting at Charminar
It is well known news to our readers that Mahesh Babu is being busy with his upcoming film Dhookudu. Now the latest news is that currently, the action scenes of the film are being shoot at Charminar, Hyderabad.
After this, a song will be shooting on Mahesh and Samantha at Padmalaya studios after which the unit will fly to Switzerland for filming little talkie part and a song.
Srinu Vytla is is directing this film ans this film is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer. Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara are producing the film under 14reels entertainment banner. Thaman has composed the music for this film and the film makers are planning to release the film in the end of June or in the early August.
Nenu Naa Rakshasi is a copied story!
Rana Daggubati claims that Nenu Naa Rakshasi story is purely original. He stresses that it is not inspired or copied from any foreign language movie. But the buzz in film nagar says a different story. As per Tollywood talk, NNR is copied from a 2001 Hollywood movie titled Kill Me Later.
Interestingly, the lead man in it is a professional killer and the heroine is having ideas to commit suicide. Nenu Naa Rakshasi lead characters are on the similar lines. Puri may have seen Kill Me Later or not, but the comparisons are ought to come.
But the inside sources of this film condemned these copy allegations. “Nenu Naa Rakshasi is purely original. See it to believe it,” they said.

Jr NTR's Smoking Vs Ileana- Sr NTR's Garlic Vs Jayalalita
It seems that Ileana hates Jr NTR and that was revealed during the shooting of 'Shakti'. Although their on screen chemistry was quite great, there are staunch enemies off the screen. Jr NTR hates Ileana's arrogance while Ileana dislikes Jr NTR's habit of smoking. And to irk Ileana, he used to light up his cigarette whenever she approached him. The fight continued in entire shooting time.
And similar thing can be recalled with respect to Senior NTR. He had the habit of chewing garlic during lunch time. Whenever there was a romantic song shoot after the lunch, Jayalalitha used to say 'no' for not bearing the pungent garlic smell from NTR's mouth. Jayalalitha, a strict vegetarian, used to keep away from garlic as well. And NTR suffered from the arrogance of Jayalalitha as well.
Coming back to the present, Ileana worked in ‘Shakti’ for the only reason of bagging Rs 1.5 Cr. She is openly criticizing Jr NTR at her friends.
Producers are also not inclined towards Ileana, despite her curvy hip, but opting for Trisha, Kajal, Tapsee and Samantha instead of her. The main reason is attributed for her arrogance.
