The once celebrated director who is tumbling today has become a care-of-address for real life villains and dreaded gangsters. Off late, Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with inspired stories from real life biographies. Earlier there were some rumors that Ramu is taking money from mafia people to make a film to project their gangster leaders as heroes. Coming to Tollywood, Ramu made 'Rakta Charitra' series and there was enough upheaval that he elevated faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri with that. The investments for the film are also said to be pulled from Suri and his associates. Now, there is information that Ramu is approached by dead sandalwood smuggler Veerappan's wife, Muthu Lakshmi to make a film basing on the smuggler's life. The film may help Muthu Lakshmi grow politically, as she is trying from a long time to make big in Tamilnadu politics. Trade pundits are saying that Ramu definitely accepts this offer as he gets huge remunerations to bail out himself from neck deep debts.
