Genelia's No N-Show due to Aunty

Generally, sexy heroine Genelia is popular for her off-screen skin-shows rather than her on-screen exposing stuff. However, the sexy babe recently disappointed her fans at a function. Apparently, Genelia is in town the other day for inaugurating a cloth store as usual. Like a person doing social service, Gene does this 'ribbon cutting' work by an expense of few lakhs. It is known that more than his career, Rana is keen on affairs. After having some hot affairs with Shriya, Richa, Bipasha Basu, Priya Anand, Ileana it is heard that he is now wooing Genelia and buying her costly gifts. Genelia: 'I'm Not Single'

Genelia, who is still known with her most interesting tailor made character Haasini in Bommarillu is now touching greater heights. She is playing journmalist role this tim in one Tamil film ‘Velayudham’ with Vijay and one Hindi film ‘Force’ (a remake of Venkatesh-Asin starrer Gharshana) with John Abraham.

She endorses south film industry saying, “The south is a great industry to learn in. Girls who haven’t taken it seriously have missed the opportunity to learn.”

Adding a line as an extension she said, “I don’t think I’m typecast because I don’t think two bubbly girls are ever the same. But yes, there is the bubbly girl image and that’s why I don’t restrict myself to one industry. I don’t know how I manage. I’m lucky to be able to manage five industries and sometimes do five films a year,” says Genelia.

When asked about her affair with Ritesh Deshmukh, she said, “Gossips are bound to surround celebrities”.

When asked in pin point if she is single, she said, “I’m not single and I’m not taken. I’m working”.

Genelia To Trade Her Sweet Look...

Bollywood's cute heartthrob Genelia D’Souza is gunning for an image makeover. In Santosh Sivan’s hyped upcoming period epic, Urumi , Genelia will be seen playing the role of a warrior.

Reportedly, Sivan has sent her for special lessons in martial arts, horse riding and rowing so that she can easily get into the skin of the role.

“The film will see Genelia play a Portuguese warrior, who loves an Indian rebel, reprised by Malayalam actor Prithviraj,” a source said.

Urumi, to be released in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, has already generated a buzz for a scorching item number picturised on Tabu and Vidya Balan.

The film also has a cameo role by Prabhu Deva.

The setting of the film is 15th century Kerala, and the film narrates the story of the local rebellion against Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama.

Genelia And Boyfriend Hiding From Them!!

The bubbly beauty Genelia is a noted name in the south but her personal roots hail from Mumbai. Now, it is heard that this pretty girl has been a topic of discussion in the Bollywood circles since a long time. The reason for that is Genny’s bonding with the Bollywood star Ritiesh Deshmukh.

Riteish-Genelia's caught at midnight!

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza were spotted having a great time at a suburban restaurant in Mumbai on Saturday night.

The two actors, who always resort to the 'just good friends' line whenever asked about each other, entered the restaurant at around 12 am and were seen enjoying a scrumptious meal.

It can be recalled that Riteish, who debuted in Bollywood opposite Genelia, has also been linked up with her Aladin co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. However, all the reports seem baseless after spotting the chemistry between Riteish and Gene.

Watching them enjoy each other's company so fondly, anyone can be sure that there is much more than just friendship between the two. While the two actors talked on myriad issues, the cutest part was when Gene sang a song for Riteish. Though we couldn't hear the lyrics of the song she was singing, we could see Riteish enjoy all the attention that the lady was bestowing on him.

Very recently, we saw Genelia D’Souza caught in a mad, unmoving traffic jam enroute to her shooting destination, Madh Island. Genelia did not like the idea of calling up the director to tell her that she was held up by a traffic snarl.

So, she got out of her car and walked over to the nearest ferry station and hopped aboard one without a care in the world. Not only were her co-passengers very excited to have a star amongst their midst, but they were also very overjoyed to know that Genelia was not one prone to diva like tantrums and laughed and joked with them like anybody else. Gen mingled with the crowd as much as she could and then hopped off the ferry when it neared her location.
