Devi Sri Prasad got a chance to compose music for power star Pawan Kalyan second time.Devi composed music for Jalsa which was a great hit now Devi has been pulled for Gabbar Singh which is the remake of Dabang.

Gabaar Singh is directed by Harish Shankar and the movie shoot will start its shooting from July 3rd.Devi has got a huge pressure for this movie as Dabang audio was a super hit in bollywood and now it is the challenge for Devi.

Devisri Killing Colours Papa Career?

Grapevine has been strong that after insisting Swathi to sing a song in ‘100% Love’, Devisri has been having a strong affair with her.

With the latest observations, sources say that Devi Sri Prasad is showing interest on Colors Swathi. When there are many professional singers, Devi Sri called for Colors Swathi to sing a song in 100 Percent Love.

Devi Sri lives in Chennai but comes to Hyderabad only for a few private parties and a few film related functions now and then. So Devi Sri is finding it hard to meet Swathi regularly. Hence it is said that he used his influence to find lead role for Swathi in a Tamil film, so that she can stay long time in Chennai to meet him regularly.

Devi Sri Prasad to score music for ‘Rachcha’

After a failure like ‘Orange’ Ram Charan strived hard for a new look. After taking a vigorous physical training exercise at Miami, he is returning to the Tollywood for his forthcoming film ‘Rachcha’ to be directed by Sampath Nandi, presented by RB Choudary and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of Mega Super Good Movies.

It is learnt that Devisri Prasad was selected as music director for the movie. Known for scoring youthful tunes, the music director is all set to make use of this opportunity and give a big musical hit for this commercial mass masala flick. The film would be an out and out action entertainer with several mass elements.

The regular shooting of the film was expected to begin from April 25.

DSP's 'Special Friendship' With Colors Papa!!

It is not sure whether he had dreams to join the police department and become a DSP but music director Devisri Prasad feels very happy whenever he is called in short as DSP. Lately, he is catering time towards ‘friendship’ with heroines than focusing on his music. News is that ‘Colors Papa’ has joined the list of his ‘dearest friends’.

This is not a speculation by anyone, DSP declared that himself during the audio release function of ‘100% Love’. He reportedly said Swathi is his best friend since long and recalled once when they were spending time alone, Swathi was humming some song and hearing that, he was flat. Since then, DSP got fixed that he must make Swathi sing atleast one song.

By this, DSP conveniently forgot that Swathi has already rendered her voice for a song in Ramgopal Varma’s ‘KSD Appalaraju’. Meanwhile, ‘friendship’ in high society between a man and woman without passion will be an understatement. Keeping aside other fields, this is next to impossible in film field.

That’s why, after his friendship with Charmee till recently and adding Mamatha Mohandas as his ‘best friend’ list and having full fun with her, DSP giving a place in his friendship club to Swathi has naturally become a topic of discussion.

Rao Gari Abbai   
A foot tapping number, the song has got traces of Michael Jackson’s pop beats. Devisri has used the western beats and gave energy to the song. Tippu has given the male vocals while Megha has supported him with her melodious voice. As usual, there is an abrupt beat in the tune and this lacks melody. Ananth Sriram came up with simple lines and didn’t put much effort. Overall, an average song…
        
Chali Chaliga   
A chirpy song, Devisri Prasad has taken the song on a melodious note and this time, he has maintained a consistent beat without any variation. Guitar, Drums, violin, synthesizers is the key instruments and they are in sync. Shreya Ghoshal rendered a mellifluous feel to it and gives depth. Ananth Sriram used simple and understandable lines but conveyed the essence of love in a tender way.
        
Ningi Jaaripadda   
A regular fast paced song, the number has healthy energy to it. Devisri Prasad used his trademark beats and instruments and one can hear traces of Arya, Current. The duration of the number is short but Mallikarjun has given a good energy to it and improvised at required places. Ramajogayya Sastri has penned the lyrics but this time his lines were plain without much effort.
        
Dol Dol Dol Bhaje 
This is more of a folk song but with modern beats. Given Devisri Prasad’s flavor, one can see the urban instrumental to the traditional tune. He has maintained a constant background beat changing the upper levels. The trio of MLR, Karthikeyan, Anitha pitched in with high energy levels and pepped up the number. Lyricist Balaji used decent lines and conveyed the essence of marriage appropriately.
        
Mora VinaraA soothing and melodious tune, the opening takes off in a nice manner and Devisri touches the classic style of beats to it. The use of Ghatam, Tabla, flute and other traditional instruments is well synergized, he should have avoided the drum beats in between. Priyadarshini gives soul to it with her honey filled voice. G. Sathyamurthy penned the lyrics and he used a good mix of poetic, modern and teasing words to the song.
        
Aakasam BadhalainaThis is a peppy song and Devisri comes alive with all sorts of techno beats and treading on his favorite ground of western flavor. The speed in the song is quite effective. This is a duet and Sagar, Megha gave a very youthful taste to the song. Both shared a good chemistry in their vocals and up the energies. Ananth Sriram also gave a trendy set of lines and this is a song that will catch the youngsters well.
        
Aggipulla LantiThis is a naughty song and it has good element of mischief in it. Though the backdrop seems to be countryside, Devisri never lets go of his western beats and he uses the right amount of guitar, constant background beat, few techno tunes and gets it going. The real credit goes to Gopika Poornima for giving the teasing effect and filling it with good energy. Rama Jhogaya Sastry shows his mettle by weaving the words in rhythm and girls will feel proud listening to this.
        
Badhulu Thochani  
An emotional song, the number opens up very well and Devisri shows depth in his music with this. He composes the right kind of tune and syncs it with beats that touch the hearts. This has Karthik, Mallikharjun rendering their voices and as usual, Karthik excels by giving that right stress on intense points. Lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry shows his class with the apt words and he conveys the exact agitation of the heart. This is a good one.
        
Light Theesko   
An interesting song with foot tapping opening, this is a fast paced song and filled with high adrenaline. Devisri shows his mettle in this by getting a harmonium, guitar, drums combo and giving it a refreshing feel.  Baba Sehgal, Murali are the singers and Baba always makes it a point to take the song to an elevated level. Rama Jhogaya Sastry also joins the party with his joy filled words. Overall, a fun song…

Firstly, it is time Devisri Prasad comes up with more soul stirring tunes and comes out of his stereotype beats and raps. Though there are those occasional flashes of brilliance, there is a repetitive mode seen in terms of the mixing and a constant background beat. Melody is missing in most of the songs and the focus is more on energy and peppy touch. On the whole, this is not an album to caliber of Devisri.

Mr Perfect audio promos Exclusively on Raaga

It is well aware that the audio of ‘Mr Perfect’ directed by Dasarath and produced by Dil Raju on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations with Prabhas and Kajal in the lead roles was slated for release on March 19.

However, audio promos of the film were already posted on the Raaga.com. The producer is making efforts to release the film in April.

Devisri Prasad scored music for the movie and he is teaming up with Dil Raju after a long gap after Varsham and Pournami, whose audio albums were big hits.

Let us hope that Devisri Prasad would once again live up to the expectations which are very high.

Devi Sri Prasad Caught @ 'Night' With Sexy Heroine

It has been quite a while since Devisri Prasad has been heard in the Telugu circuit. Well, this talented music maker has been quite busy in the Kollywood circuit and has scored some fine tunes. While that is the film front, it appears that he has been scoring some fine tunes with the females in the Kollywood arena.

Recently, Devisri was present for a special event in Tamil Nadu. This was the special event wherein cine musicians had a get together after spending 40 years in the film industry. Our sources from Chennai reveal that Devisri was spotted with the hot heroine Andrea and he shook a leg with her on the stage.

While that is okay, here is the spicy part. It is heard that Devisri was spotted leaving the venue with Andrea in the night. Some are also saying that both spent the whole night together and what happened is left to each one’s imagination. For now, the grapevine is that Kollywood males are envious of Devisri as he was doing his ‘gaana bajana’ with such a hot bombshell.
