ఇటీవల రామ్‌చరణ్‌ వివాదాల్లో ఇరుక్కున్నాడు. హీరోయిన్లు అవార్డు ఫంక్షన్లుకు రావడంలేదని దాసరి కామెంట్‌ చేస్తే... రాంచరణ్ మాత్రం తాను ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళినా హీరోయిన్లు వస్తున్నారని స్టేట్‌మెంట్‌ ఇచ్చాడు. ఆ తర్వాత దాసరి శిష్యుడు నట్టికుమార్‌ ప్రెస్‌మీట్‌ పెట్టి.. ఏకంగా రామ్‌చరణ్‌ తెలీసీ తెలియకుండా మాట్లాడాడనీ, బహిరంగ క్షమాపణ చెప్పాల్సిందేనని పట్టుబడ్డాడు.

Yet again, Dasari has proved that he has a big mouth. This time, it was the most talked about Vamsi awards function. This happened at the famous Ravindra Bharathi auditorium and Dasari was one among the special invites. Sources say that as usual Dasari was desperate for his chance to speak.

When his turn came, Dasari reportedly poked about all and this included the heroines as well. However, things took a turn when he started criticizing Ravindra Bharathi. Dasari reportedly said “There must be at least 5-6 venues like this in the city instead of just one. The sound system is pathetic and sitting among the audience, I was barely able to hear anything…”

Legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao’s idea of casting Anushka in a supposed upcoming film under his direction has took a new turn. Even after trying in all possible ways, Anushka is said to be showing 'stars'. ANR & Dasari's Big Fight Revealed!!!

When Chiranjeevi got ‘Padma Bhushan’, Tollywood arranged for a grand felicitation. When Ramanaidu got ‘Dada Saheb Phalke’ award, even he got a grand felicitation. But not just in Telugu circuit but in entire Indian cine circuit, Akkineni Nageswara Rao has received the second best honour in the form of ‘Padma Vibhushan’ but till now, Tollywood folks are dilly dallying the matter of honouring him.

It is heard that the reason for this is Dasari Narayana Rao. Talk is that ANR who worked as hero in Dasari’s direction is now having a villain in the form of Dasari. From past few years, there are no talks between ANR and Dasari, they don’t attend the same function and any program related to Akkineni heroes, Dasari is not invited.

Gossips are that Dasari had to pay few arrears to Annapurna Studios and this resulted in a heated argument between Dasari and ANR. The producer-director Dasari Narayana Rao, who is cut up with Congress leadership for ignoring him, is planning to make a political satire, taking potshots at the ruling party. There is buzz in film circles that Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, whose Munnabhai series were a big hit, will play the protagonist in the Hindi movie.

According to sources, the film will be a witty and sarcastic commentary on the ongoing developments in the state and national politics. Of late, Dasari has been keeping himself away from Congress after falling out of its favour. Once part of the central cabinet, he was later dropped from the Ministry and since then the Congress central leadership has been largely ignoring him.

Rubbing salt into his injured pride, his bête noir Chiranjeevi was wooed into the Congress. Both belong to “Kapu” community and their mutual animosity is well known in political circles. Dasari is upset over the merger of Praja Rajyam Party with Congress. He strongly feels that he cannot see Chiranjeevi and himself sailing in the same boat.

తాజాగా నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ నటించిన 'పరమవీరచక్ర' విషయం తీసుకుంటే ఇదే స్పష్టమవుతోంది. విడుదలనాడే హైదరాబాద్‌ క్రాస్‌రోడ్‌లోని శాంతి, సంథ్య ధియేటర్లలో మ్యాట్నీకి కలెక్షన్లు పడిపోయాయి. కొత్త సినిమా అయితే బాల్కనీ టిక్కెట్లు బ్లాక్‌లో కూడా దొరకవు. అటువంటిది బ్లాక్‌ టిక్కెట్లు అసలు రేటుల తీసుకోండని బతిమాలడం మరీ విచిత్రం. ఇందుకుకారణం. ఈనాటి ట్రెండ్‌కు తగినట్లుగా సస్పెన్స్‌, ఉత్సాహం రేకెత్తించేట్లుగా సినిమా లేకపోవడమే. 

బోయపాటి శ్రీను తీసిన 'సింహా'లో డాక్టర్‌ మర్డర్‌ చేయడం వంటి ట్విస్ట్‌లతో యువతనూ ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. పరమవీచక్రలో దేశద్రోహూలు దేశంలో ఉన్నారని చెప్పి వారిని దేశంకోసం త్యాగం చేసిన వ్యక్తిపై ద్రోహి అని ముద్ర వేస్తే దాన్ని ఎలా సాల్వ్‌ చేశాడనేది కథాంశం. ఇదే కథను ఇప్పటి ట్రెండ్‌కు తగినట్లుగా పలుమార్పులతో చేస్తే మరింతగా బాగుండేదని ఫిలింనగర్‌ కథనం. కానీ దీనికి దాసరి అంగీకరించరు. దీంతో 'నా సినిమాను

అలా అనుకుని 'ఫూల్స్‌' సినిమా తీశారు. కానీ అది చతికిల పడింది. చూడ్డానికి థియేటర్‌కు జనాలే రాలేకపోయారు. దాంతో తాను మంచి ప్రయత్నం చేసినా లాభం లేదని తేలిపోయింది. కానీ సాహసంతో మరింతగా రాటుదేలి ఈనాటి దర్శకులకు తీసిపోని విధంగా చిత్రాన్ని తీసి భంగపడ్డారు. అంతా కొత్తవారితో 'యంగ్‌ ఇండియా' తీశారు. కానీ ఆ చిత్రాన్ని కనీసం ఎలా ఉందో చూడ్డానికి థియేటర్‌కే జనాలు రానప్పుడు చేసేదేముంది. 

కనీసం బాగుందో లేదో చూడాలిగా? అని దాసరి ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు. నేటి టెక్నాలజీని అన్వయించుకోవడంలో విఫలమయ్యారా? అని అడిగితే.... నేను ఈనాటి దర్శకులకు తీసిపోనివిధంగా టెక్నాలజీని ఉపయోగించాననీ, వారికంటే ముందే ఉన్నానని అంటున్నారు. టెక్నాలజీ అంటే... మేకప్‌ మారుతుందా? రీల్స్‌ మారతాయా? యాక్షన్‌ మారుతుందా? కాస్ట్యూమ్స్‌ మారతాయి. ఫిలిం లెంగ్త్‌ పెరుగుతుందా? అంటూ ప్రశ్నలు సంధిస్తున్నారు. ఏదిఏమైనా తను ఈనాటి ట్రెండ్‌కు తగినట్లు తీయలేకపోతున్నానని మాత్రం అంగీకరించలేకపోతున్నారు.

ఇందుకు ఉదాహరణే తాజాగా ఆయన దర్శకత్వం వహించిన పరమవీరచక్ర. సి.కళ్యాణ్ నిర్మాత. ఈ చిత్రం విడుదలైన మూడో రోజున 30మందిని పిలిపించి చిత్రాన్ని అభినందించే కార్యక్రమానికి నిర్వహించారు. విడుదలరోజే యాభై మంది వివిధ రంగాలకు చెందిన మహిళలకు ప్రదర్శించారు. వారంతా సోమవారం రాత్రి తాజ్‌ డక్కన్‌లో పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు. వారంతా పరమవీరచక్ర చిత్రాన్ని చూడలేనివారు దురదృష్టవంతులు. తప్పకుండా ఇటువంటి చిత్రాలు చూసి ప్రోత్సహించాలని బల్లగుద్ది వాదించారు.

క్రికెట్‌ దౌర్భాగ్యంలో ఉన్నాం: బాలకృష్ణ 
బాలయ్య మాత్రం నేటి ట్రెండ్‌కు చురకలు వేశారు. దాసరి 150వ సినిమాలో చేయడం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. నాన్నగారు ఎన్నో ప్రయోగాలు చేశారు. నేను చేస్తున్నాను. సమాజంలో ప్రతిదీ వినోదంగా మారిపోయింది. కార్గిల్‌ యుద్ధంలో మరణిస్తే దాన్ని పట్టించుకోకుండా క్రికెట్‌ గెలిస్తే కేరింతలు కొట్టే దౌర్భాగ్యమైన సమాజంలో మనం ఉన్నాం. దేశాన్ని రక్షించేది సైన్యమే. ఇంటా బయటా మనకు గొడవలే. ప్రతీదీ ఏదైతే అయిందిలే అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రం ధైర్యం నూరిపోస్తుంది. యువత ఇటువంటి చిత్రాలు చూడాలి. క్రికెట్‌లు ఆడడంకాదు.. అన్నారు.

ఏమీ అర్థంకాలేదు: రోశయ్య 
నేను సినిమాలు చూసేది తక్కువే. దాసరి పిలుపు మేరకు వెళ్ళి చూశాను. మొదటి అర్థభాగం ఏమీ అర్థంకాలేదు. రెండో భాగం చూశాక ఆసక్తికల్గించేలా సినిమా ఉంది. రాజకీయ ప్రభావం త్రివిధ దళాలపై ఎలా ఉందనేది చక్కగా చూపారు. యువత ఇటువంటి చిత్రాలు చూడాలి అన్నారు.

లేడీస్‌ చూడాలి: దాసరి 
మంచి కథాంశం పరమవీరచక్ర. మహిళలు రావాలి. దేశం కోసం త్యాగం చేసిన స్త్రీమూర్తులు ఇందులో ఉన్నారు. గొప్ప సినిమా. ఈ సినిమా ఖచ్చితమైన ప్ర్రజాదరణ పొందుతుంది. అన్నారు.

Sankranthi Report: Fate Of 4 Releases

The festival of Sankranthi is the most auspicious for the Telugu people and the culture is imbibed into the Tollywood circuit as well.

The cine folks believe that since it is the opening of the year, they feel that a good start to the box office will always lead to good results down the line. Therefore, they come up with the best of the big budget movies and want to be the first winners in the list.

Now, the Sankranthi for 2011 is complete and four films were in the race for top honors. Three out of the four were big banner and big star flicks while the fourth was more of a urban treat. So, here is a look at the fate of all the films now that the festival frenzy is over.

Parama Veera Chakra:This was the most hyped and much awaited film from Nandamuri Balakrishna. After the blockbuster hit of ‘Simha’, many expected Balayya to repeat the magic and the fact that this was also the 150th directorial venture of Dasari Narayana Rao added to the hype. However, the film turned out to be a colossal disaster at the box office.

Though Balayya did justice to his act, many blamed the weak handling by Dasari which resulted in the flop. A film which is reportedly made at Rs 20 crore budget is currently scrambling to touch even Rs 2 crores.

Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu:
A super hyped fantasy flick, the film had many highlights. It marked the debut of Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Manchu in Telugu. It also welcomed the Hollywood giant Walt Disney into Telugu. Above all, this had Siddarth in an ambitious role of a warrior while the director if Kovelamudi Prakash, son of K Raghavendar Rao.  Despite so many plusses, the film still turned out to be a dud. Yet again, the cause for that is Prakash and his poor directorial abilities, said many.

Mirapakaya:
Mass maharaja Ravi Teja seems to be riding on luck somewhat. His earlier venture was ‘Don Seenu’ which scraped into a safe zone thanks to few external factors and the glamour of Shriya. This time, he has emerged to be the lucky winner once again. Though the film was not worthy of being given a pass mark, the poor performance of other two films and the crowd pulling factor of Ravi Teja worked the trick and reports say that the film is inching towards a commercial hit. This in a way, is relief to the box office.

Golconda High School:
The soft spoken hero Sumanth has arrived with an offbeat venture this time and this is the rather unconventional treat from director Indraganti Mohana Krishna of ‘Ashta Chemma’ fame. With cricket as the backdrop and sticking to the environment of the school like the title suggests, the film has got a mixed response. While few connected to the film very well on nostalgic grounds and love for cricket, few felt that it lacked the velocity and intensity to grip the audience. Overall, this is a clean film amidst the lot of masala flicks and with a message.

So folks, the Sankranthi season has given an overall disappointing result and now, the focus will be on the summer releases. Let us see if the heat picks up by then or not.
