I will never enter into dirty P***: Mahesh Babu

Rumor mills have been buzzing that Prince Mahesh Babu is willing to join YS Jagan's political party. Mahesh's father Krishna has been loyal to Congress party for decades together. Krishna also stated that his family would be always with congress during the time of last elections. But with the state congress splitting into two, there are doubts about which congress Krishna's family is supporting now. Gossip makers claim that Mahesh Babu was recently approached by Jagan as the latter feels that Mahesh's support would make his party stronger among the youth. Few went on to say that Mahesh is ready to join hands with Jagan. As per close circles to Mahesh, these gossips are completely baseless as they say that Jagan has never met Mahesh in the recent times. "Even if Jagan streches his hand, the Superstar is not willing to enter politics as that is not his cup of tea," said the source. "I'm happy as an actor. I will never enter into dirty politics," is what have Mahesh said reacting to the gossips.

With Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy getting busy with building up his fledgling YSR Congress party and is in neck-deep plans to oust the Kiran Kumar Reddy government in the state, he is not able to focus on his favourite media house Sakshi daily and channel.

For the last few months, his wife Bharati Reddy has been managing the affairs in the media house in the capacity of managing director, while Jagan continues to be its chairman.

Of late, Bharati has been directly involving even in the editorial matters, dictating what should go into the pages and on screen and whom to attack. This has naturally been a sort of embarrassing for professional journalists who prefer to work in an independent environment.

And according to inside sources, Bharati has been ruthless in her functioning. The way she has shown the door for ex-Chief Executive Officer Priyadarshini Ram Reddy has become a talking point in the journalistic circles in Sakshi.

Though Ram Reddy has made up his mind to quit Sakshi a few days ago, he was shocked to find his chambers locked one fine day and when he enquired about the keys, the security people reportedly told him that “Madam” has taken over the keys. Ram Reddy got the hint and he went out without making any fuss. It was really an unceremonious exit for a person who contributed his sweat and blood to develop the channel, sources say.

కేవలం ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కాపాడుకునే లక్ష్యం తప్ప, పార్టీ భవిష్యత్తు గురించి నాయకత్వం ఆలోచించడం లేదని నేతలు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు. ఈ విషయంలో నాయకత్వంపై ఒత్తిడి తెచ్చి, జగన్‌ వర్గ ఎమ్మెల్యేలపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపడంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్‌కుమార్‌రెడ్డి అసమర్థంగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారన్న విమర్శలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. కడప ఉప ఎన్నికలో జగన్‌ భారీ మెజారిటీకి కారణమయిన ఎస్పీ-కలెక్టర్‌పై ఇంతవరకూ చర్యలు తీసుకోవ డంలో కిరణ్‌ ధైర్యం చేయలేకపోయారని గుర్తు చేస్తున్నారు. డీ ఎల్‌, వీరశివారెడ్డి ఫిర్యాదు చేసినా, ఇటీవలి జరిపిన ఐఏఎస్‌ - ఐపీఎస్‌ బదిలీలలో వారిద్దరి పేర్లు లేకపోవడం బట్టి తమ సీఎం ఎంత ధైర్యంగా నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటున్నారో స్పష్టమవుతోందని ఎద్దేవా చేస్తున్నారు. ‘కిరణ్‌ స్థానంలో వైఎస్‌, చంద్రబాబులాంటి వాళ్లుంటే ఈపాటికి కలెక్టర్‌-ఎస్పీ బదిలీ అయిపోయి ఉండేవారు. అందుకే వీరశివారెడ్డి మా పార్టీకి ఓ మొనగాడు కావాలని వ్యాఖ్యా నించారు. నిజంగానే పార్టీకి ఈ పరిస్థితిలో ఓ మొనగాడు కావా లి. దమ్ములేని వారితో పార్టీనడవద’ని ఓ ఎమ్మెల్యే స్పష్టం చేశారు.

ఎమ్మెల్యేలను దారిలోకి తీసుకురావడంలో విఫలమైన ముఖ్య మంత్రి, కనీసం వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవడంలో కూడా విఫలమ వుతే ఇక రాష్ట్రంలో పరిపాలన-పార్టీ ఏమవుతుందని ఓ రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు ప్రశ్నించారు. కేవలం ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కాపాడుకునేందుకే చూస్తున్నారు తప్ప, 2014 తర్వాత రాష్ట్రంలో కాంగ్రెస్‌ భవితవ్యం గురించి నాయకత్వంతో సహా ఎవరూ ఆలోచించడం లేదన్న ఆవేదన వ్యక్తమవుతోంది. తాత్కాలికంగా జగన్‌ వర్గ ఎమ్మెల్యేలను బుజ్జగించడమో, కేసుల పేరిట బెదిరించడమో చేస్తున్నారు తప్ప, వారు 2014 ఎన్నికల ముందు జగన్‌ వైపు స్థానిక నేతలతో కలసి వెళితే అక్కడ పార్టీకి దిక్కెవరని ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు.
జగన్‌కు మద్దతునిస్తున్న చాలామంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలు స్థానిక కారణాలు, అనర్హత భయం వంటి కారణాలతో ఇప్పటికి మౌనంగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, నియోజకవర్గాల్లో తమ సొంత పలుకు బడి పెంచుకుంటున్నారు.

తమ మౌనం ద్వారా కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీలోనే తమకు ప్రత్యామ్నాయం లేకుండా చూసుకుంటున్నారు. అంటే తాము భవిష్యత్తులో జగన్‌ పార్టీలో చేరితే కాంగ్రెస్‌లో ఎవరూ మిగలకుండా ఉండే వ్యూహంతో ఇప్పటినుంచే పనిచేస్తున్నారు. అయితే వీరంతా 2014 ఎన్నికల సమయంలో జగన్‌ పార్టీలో దూకితే కాంగ్రెస్‌కు జెండా పట్టే కార్యకర్త కూడా దొరకని ప్రమాదకర పరిస్థితి కనిపిస్తోందని సీనియర్లు అధిష్ఠా నాన్ని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.
జగన్‌ వర్గ ఎమ్మెల్యేలను ప్రస్తుతం బుజ్జగించే బదులు, వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటే 2014 ఎన్నికల నాటికి నియోజకవర్గాల్లో ప్రత్యామ్నాయ నేతలను తయారుచేసుకోవచ్చంటున్నారు. ఎమ్మెల్యేలపై అనర్హత వేటు వేసినా, సభలో ఉన్న సభ్యుల సంఖ్య ప్రకారం ప్రభుత్వం పడిపోయే అవకాశాలేమీ లేవని స్పష్టం చేస్తున్నారు. లేకపోతే 2014 ఎన్నికల్లో పార్టీకి అభ్యర్ధులు కూడా దొరకని దయనీయ పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడుతుందని హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.

అధిష్ఠానం ఈ విషయంలో ఇంకా నాన్చుడు వైఖరి అవలం బిస్తే... ఎన్నికల నాటికి జగన్‌ను పార్టీలోకి తీసుకువచ్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తోందని, అందుకే ఆయన ఎమ్మెల్యేలపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవడం లేదన్న సంకేతాలు వెళ్లే ప్రమాదం ఉందంటున్నారు. ‘ఎప్పటికయినా కాంగ్రెస్‌-జగన్‌ కలసిపోతారన్న ప్రతిపక్షాల ఆరోపణలను నిజం చేయాలనుకుంటే జగన్‌ వర్గ ఎమ్మెల్యేలపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవలసిన అవసరం ఏ మాత్రం లేదు. అప్పటి వర కూ పార్టీ ఇలాగే భ్రష్ఠుపట్టినా ఫర్వాలేదనుకుంటే మేమేమీ చేయలేమ’ని సీమకు చెందిన ఓ ఎమ్మెల్యే వెటకారంగా వ్యాఖ్యా నించారు.

'He Wants Only Women, Not Their Husbands'

Actor couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar, who has been in the news for the last couple of days for their bashing of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, reportedly made derogatory comments about him.

Rajasekhar, in a private conversation to a media friend, reportedly told him that Jagan had his eyes only women and wanted them to appear beside him on all the public meetings, but not their husbands.

“At the Vijayawada deeksha meeting, Jagan was irritated with my presence. He asked me not to wear jean pants and goggles while coming to him. What was more shocking was that Jagan told me to send Jeevitha along with him to all the meetings and asked me to confine to films,” Rajasekhar said.

He told the media friend that all the women leaders surrounding Jagan had kept their husbands at a distance.

“One can see Roja, but not Selvamani; Konda Surekha, but not Konda Murali; Pulla Padmavathi, but not her husband Bhaskar; Jayasudha, not her husband; and Vasireddy Padma, not her husband. Lakshmi Parvathi is allowed because she does not have husband. So, he wanted Jeevitha to stay with him, but not me. That was too much,” he reportedly commented.

Jeevitha-Rajasekhar cry, attack Jagan

After keeping silent for the last couple of months, actor-couple Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, as expected, have come out of YSR Congress Party floated by former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

On Friday, the couple broke down in front of the media saying they had been completely ignored in the Jagan party.

“The only ambition of Jagan is to become chief minister of the state immediately. He wants to be a monarch in the party and does not want anybody to get focused. He was envious at the way me and Jeevitha hogging the limelight at his Vijayawada deeksha. Since then, he has been keeping us at bay,” Rajasekhar said, bursting into tears.

Rajasekhar said they could not get enough recognition even in the Congress party, despite their selfless service.

“We were invited into the Congress by former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy only to take on Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi. We were asked to campaign in the constituencies, wherever the PRP was strong. We ensured that except in one constituency, the Congress had won in all the constituencies, where we had campaigned. Now, the same Congress party has invited Chiranjeevi to merge his party with it,” he said.

By attacking the Congress and the Jagan party, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar had given enough hints that they would be joining the TDP, which is also desperately looking for star appearances.

Now, Hasan Ali Claims Links With Jagan

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and soon-to-be wound up Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi can now breathe it easy.

For, it is not just these two who were named by money launderer and horse breeder Hasan Ali in the Enforcement Directorate authorities’ interrogation, but there are many others like them.

According to the latest report carried by Delhi-based English tabloid daily “Mail Today,” Hasan Ali had named another former Chief Minister of the state who laundered black money through Hasan Ali has come to light.

The report quoting ED officials says Ali had been introduced to Kashinath Tapuriah, who later became one of his closest aide and advisors, through none other than this former CM.

“For a long time Ali continued to launder money for this politician and after his death, he continued to do so for his son,” it said.

By reading this report between the lines, it is pretty evident that Hasan Ali was speaking about former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy (who died in 2009) and his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Earlier, Mail Today had reported about Ali’s links with another former CM of AP.

Now, the Congress leaders can target Jagan. Or will they keep quiet like “thieves stung by scorpions” because many more skeletons can tumble out of Hasan Ali’s cup board!
