Sexy heroine says no to marry Tarun

Sexy heroine says no to marry Tarun

Most seductive heroine of present breed is vimala raman. This Australian born, Indian fed lady having debuted in Tollywood besides Varun Sandesh with ‘Evaraina Epudaina’ could not make a mark despite her ample skin show in films like ‘Chattam’ and ‘Gayam 2.’ As her most waited movie with Tarun titled ‘Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaiya Abbayi’ is still mugging in boxes, she reacted on rumors about her marriage with co-star Tarun.
The sexy starlet scotched the rumors of being in love with Tarun. ‘These are just baseless rumors. He is just a good friend,’ says Vimala. Of course Tarun is one of the most eligible bachelors in T-town that made rumor mills working overtime when the duo shared cozy, intimate moments in their yet to be released film. The young pair reportedly met a couple of times to spend time together and strengthen their bond, informs a source about their private life.

‘CACA’ likely to hit screen in May

View Gallery

Directed by Kanmani and jointly produced by Raju Harwani of Supreme Movies and Gogineni Srinivas of Pranav Studios, ‘Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkaneni Abbayi’ is busy completing the post-production formalities.

The Tarun-Vimala Raman starrer had wrapped up its shooting long ago and was delayed inordinately due to various reasons including the strike by the Tollywood workers.

However, the producers are making efforts to complete the balance works at a fast pace and release the film at any cost in the first week of May.

The film has music from Anup Rubens. Already Tarun was running a lean period and Vimala Raman too had no notable hits to her credit. Let us wait and watch whether these two minuses would multiply as a plus and give a hit or not?

Heroine's Problem With Physical Trainer

The need to look sexy and flaunt the right curves is a mandatory requirement for any heroine these days. So, most of them hit the gym for workouts and those who can afford also take the help of a personal trainer. However, it appears that one heroine seems to be having issues with her physical trainer.

She is none other than Vimala Raman. Apparently, Vimala is one girl who is generous about skin show and looks keen on upping her glamour and oomph at all times. However, though she has the right kind of sex appeal in her face, her body has not been that curvaceous enough to give that kick to the audience.

Some of them say “Vimala has a tremendous ‘turn on’ factor but it is her body that dampens the mood. For instance, her tummy area is rather unusual and the navel looks like it is sucked inside. There seems to be a problem with her exercise pattern and the way she is doing her abs. Maybe she must check with her physical trainer on this.” Hope Vimala works on this feedback.

Big Hero Keeps Hands In Her Blouse

Commercial directors often rely upon masala gestures onscreen to please the masses and make some money. However, such things require a masala image hero to do it and right now, it looks like Jagapathi Babu who had a family image is getting into it. Incidentally, he has become the topic of discussion.

Jaggu’s latest release is ‘Chattam’ and in one of the song sequences, it is heard that he pulls heroine Vimala Raman close to him by keeping his hand in her blouse. This has become a discussion among the public and people are now going to the cinema just for that scene. As such, it is the hype getting generated due to the talk which is drawing crowds.

Discussions are also happening on this scene and the raunchy chemistry that both Jagapathi Babu and Vimala Raman have shared in their films. Whether ‘Chattam’ will teach any good law to the public or not, the hand in blouse scene sure seems to be teaching new things to the audience.

Dud Heroes 'Dappu' for Family Hero

Dud Heroes 'Dappu' for Family Hero
Usually, publicity takes all forms to ensure a smooth run of the film before recovering money for producers. Even if the film is slated as a dud at the Box Office, 'Publicity' monster never stops its work, making people laugh further. More interest is generated if utter flop heroes talk about another utter flop flick.

Jagapathi Babu's recent release 'Chattam' is pulled out of many theatres for the negative talk it got on day one itself. With a predictable storyline and less technical standards, director Arun Prasad (Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu' fame) failed to deliver a gripping tight content that can woo the viewers. On the other hand, dud heroes like Rajasekhar and Tarun are speaking a lot in the media about this flick. Rajasekhar went on comparing the flick with his 'Ankusam', while Tarun stated that the concept is thrilling. Industry people are poking fun at these flop stars for the 'dappu' they are beating in people's ears. Other than this 'dappu', there is nothing in the film that can hold the audience, where Jagapathi babu kills dreaded terrorist Kasab.

Sexy Heroine Blasting V N Aditya!!!

It goes without saying that a director is like the captain of the ship so any outcome of the film is attributed to him. Right now, one director seems to be in the line of fire and he is V N Aditya. The reason for that is his recent release ‘Raaj’ and news is that he is being blasted by one of its heroines Vimala Raman.

Apparently, the film became a super flop and it is heard that Vimala is miffed with Aditya for showing her in rather sleazy attires and doing some steamy scenes. It is heard that Vimala was narrated something and it turned out to be something else onscreen. As such, the film changed two directors before it fell into Aditya’s lap.

Vimala made her debut with Varun Sandesh and few of them felt she looked old for him. Later, she took on whatever came her way and did some bold scenes with Jagapathi Babu in ‘Gaayam 2’ but in vain. Later, she did another one with Jaggu but in vain. Some are advising Vimala can do some homely roles like she did when she was in Kollywood. Wonder what the hot babe has in mind..

Juicy Heroine Lost 'Juice' In Her!!!

When it comes to the southern circuit, the audience would love to see their heroines have that extra bit of flesh which adds to the oomph and sex appeal. So, it is natural that voluptuous beauties like Anushka, Asin, Charmy, Namitha have hot demand among the masses.
Now, one heroine created a similar stir when she made her debut but eventually she seems to have gone dry. We are talking about the imported beauty Vimala Raman. When she made her debut, Vimala was buxom, had a juicy sex appeal and her assets and curves looked full making her the most desirable girl.
However, the recent films have shown that she has shrunk in size and even her cheeks have gone inside. After seeing her in movies like ‘Raaj’ ‘Chattam’, the common comment is that Vimala looks like a juicy watermelon sucked dry. Well, let us hope she does something about it then.

Vimala Raman Caught In Tight Spot!!!

Lately, the Telugu industry has been seeing many Indian girls coming from foreign countries more than the north. We have seen the likes of Richa Gangopadhyay, Nikesha Patel, Priya Anand etc. Another one among them is Vimala Raman. However, her origin seems to have put her in a tight spot recently.
Well, we are talking about the crucial India- Australia quarterfinal match in the World Cup. Apparently, Vimala was not sure as to which team she should support. The reason for that is, she is born and brought up in Australia while her roots are Indian. Given her love for the game, Vimala was not sure which side to take.
While she loves the Aussies, it seems she was also vouching for India. In the end, the hot babe expressed happiness that India made it to the Semifinal. All these were traced in her micro-blogging site. Well, that’s what we call a bittersweet moment for this imported bombshell.

'Chattam' Review: Jagapathi Babu Kills Kasab!!

Rating: 2/5Banner: Visakha Talkies
Cast: Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman, Murali Sharma and others
Music: P M M Srilekha
Cinematography: Jaswant
Editing: Gautham Raju
Story, screenplay, direction: P A Arun Prasad
Producers: Natti Kumar, T Rama Satyanarayana
Release date: 25/03/2011
Noted actor Jagapathi Babu is back and this time he is donning the role of a cop. He is flanked by his regular favorite Vimala Raman so let us see how the movie is.
Story:Gowri Shankar (Jagapathi Babu) is a police inspector and he believes in doing settlements, taking commissions for his work and is corrupted. He is assisted by his constable Ranga Rao (Jeeva).
A case of acid attack on college students and the kidnapping of a girl and her killing brings some tension but things get complicated as the criminals in both cases are also killed. In comes CB-CID officer (Murali Sharma) to investigate the deaths and he is assisted by Gowri.
His investigations lead him to discover that Gowri is the killer. Why does Gowri kill them?
Why he decides to kill even the dreaded terrorist Hasab (Amit Dhawan)? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performances:Jagapathi Babu does his bit as required and it is a cakewalk for him. As such, there is nothing impact creating from him and he goes about doing his job mechanically.
Vimala Raman is there to add the glamour for the songs and indulge in some skin show. Though she doesn’t have that sort of body or curves to flaunt her sex appeal is quite natural.
Murali Sharma is a natural performer. He is a strong talent who deserves more chances. He does his bit effectively and has a strong screen presence.
Asha Saini looks sizzling and seductive, she has that oomph which can raise the heat. Jeeva was usual. Amit Dhawan was eccentric. Ravu Ramesh was consistent. The others didn’t have much to do.
Highlights
  • Last ten minutes
  • Murali Sharma’s performance
Drawbacks
  • Weak direction
  • Predictable storyline
  • Low technical values
  • No grip in any scene
  • No comedy
  • Dull romance
Analysis
To start with, director PA Arun Prasad must be appreciated for involving the terrorist Ajmal Kasab in his film and the fact that our hero goes and kills him. Apart from that, the rest of the film has taken the lead from the acid attack cases on Praneetha (whose killers were encountered by police as wished in this film) and the boiler killing of the little girl Vyshnavi in Vijayawada.
Just like a director has his strokes in a film, PA Arun Kumar shows his strokes by creating some raunchy scenes and inferior comedy. Overall, the film’s attempt to convey a strong message is appreciable but the logic and the way the message was conveyed was not practical.
It is true that looking at the present day functioning of law and order, citizens tend to incline towards tribal law that states ‘an eye for an eye’ and a ‘life for a life’. But the consequences of that are to be studied. That is a very big debatable issue indeed.
At the box office, there is nothing that the film has to hold the audience so the chance of below average result is high.
Bottom-line: Watch it for last ten minutes!!

Sumanth Disowns His Own Film

Sumanth’s career has been going through a rough patch. His last three films Boni, Golconda High School and Raaj, have bombed at the box office.
Interestingly, he has now ‘disowned’ Raaj, a film that has been unanimously trashed by all critics.
Responding to the criticism, the actor said that all the flak was justified.
The actor also said he foresaw such a result while doing the film itself. Pre-release, there was a lot of buzz about the steamy scenes in the film that had Priyamani and Vimala Raman in lead roles.
On Tuesday, he tweeted saying, “Honestly, didn’t expect much from Raaj. It was more or less a salvage operation after the original director was let go off.”(sic) Despite the criticism from all quarters, Sumanth found that the film had a good opening, which has caught the actor by surprise. Wonder if it was hype about steamy scenes which pulled the crowds or did they want to see how bad the film was!
He has already begun working for his next film, said to be a love storycum-action thriller aimed at the class audience. The flick is going on floors from April and a new heroine will be signed for the film.

'Raaj' Review: Rubbish And Bullshit!!

Rating: 1.5/5Banner: Kumar Brothers Cinema
Cast: Sumanth, Priyamani, Vimala Raman  and others
Music: Koti
Cinematography: Jagan
Screenplay, direction: V N Aditya
Producers: Kumar Brothers
Release date: 18/03/2011

The class hero Sumanth has now arrived in a commercial formula treat and this time he has enough ammunition in the form of the heroines Priyamani and Vimala Raman. Let us see how the film is.

Story
Raaj (Sumanth) is a fashion photographer. He loves Priya (Vimala Raman) but he loses her whereabouts and reluctantly gets married to Mythili (Priyamani). But he is unable to tell Mythili about Priya and finds it difficult to adjust with her.
However, things change and they get close. Just when things look to settle, Raj sees Priya. He decides to ask her why she left him without a word and lies to Mythili that he is going to London. Who is Priya? Why does she leave Raaj without a word? What happens to Raaj-Mythili’s relation after Priya’s arrival? All this forms the rest of the story.

Performances
Given his sophisticated looks, Sumanth is a total misfit to this character. He failed in romance, fights, dance and looked disinterested while enacting the emotional scenes. Despite having strong steamy scenes with Priyamani, Vimala Rama he could not deliver that chemistry.

Priyamani goes totally extreme in her skin show and does justice to her remuneration. To be frank, the film will receive any response only due to her severe exposing. However, she should have taken care in the make up and costumes department. Some scenes make her look like a C-grade heroine.

Vimala Raman did her best to ooze glamour but she couldn’t get past Priyamani. But she scored better than Priyamani in the makeup, costumes departments. The flip side is the dubbing for Vimala which reminded of a monotonous TV artist. Already, her performance is weak and the dubbing put her in negative scale.

Srinivas Reddy gives an overdose of adult comedy and Ali has no limits to his flavor of adult comedy. Ajay had nothing to do as a villain. His characterization makes you feel that the old timers Nagabhushanam and Rajanala were much better. The rest of the cast were just for formality sake.

Highlights
  • Cinematography
  • Locations
Drawbacks
  • Terrible songs
  • Weak dialogues
  • Amateur editing
  • Botched up direction
  • Obscenity in romance scenes
  • Stale twist in second half
Analysis
Despite many attempts, it is clear that Sumanth fits the best for classy roles and is a total misfit for commercial and mass roles.
Either he is being misguided or he is not aware of his own limitations. If only he stuck to classy roles and sophisticated image, he would have got the backing of select audience and could have made his career as a minimum guarantee hero.
‘Raaj’ is one of those masterpieces which belong to the category of torturing the audience in every scene and camera movement.
Right from first scene, the audience goes through third degree torture and becomes a victim of the director’s creativity. The film reminds many of a C-grade Malayalam movie and if you thought that tsunamis happen only in the seas, ‘Raaj’ will give you the experience in cinema theatre.

Bottomline: Beware!! It is a dangerous torture!!

Directed by VN Aditya and produced by Kumar Brothers on the banner of Kumar Brothers Cinema, ‘Raaj’ with Sumanth, Vimala Raman and Priyamani in the lead had completed its shooting and post-production formalities.

Soon after the release of the first copy, the film was submitted for certification. The Censor Board had awarded ‘U/A’ certificate for the movie with some cuts. The film was said to have steamy and romantic scenes and there are some lip lock scenes too involving Sumanth and Priyamani.

Moreover, he had also shared the lip to lip kissing scenes with Priyamani and Vimala Raman in this movie.

Another interesting feature in this film is that the music director of the film had remixed the song ‘Bheemavaram Bulloda…’ of Akkineni Nagarjuna on the hero and heroines.

Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, Ali, Venumadhav, Giribabu, Ajay and Telangana Sakuntala and others are in the cast.

Vimala Raman turns hot for this summer

View Gallery

Vimala Raman is known for showing lots of ease in romantic scenes and used to spill extra glamour whenever a director demands.
She started exposing her assets right from her debut film and increases the dose of exposure with every next film.
Especially, her hot romance scenes with Jagapatibabu in ‘Gaayam-2’ surprised everyone and she had become the heartthrob for the young audiences. This hot heroine is coming before the Telugu audiences with three films in a row during this summer.
They are ‘Chattam’ with Jagapatibabu again, ‘Chukkalanti Ammayi – Chakkanaina Abbayi’ with Tarun and ‘Raaj’ with Sumanth as hero.
Let us see how the director made use of her hot assets and exposure of glamour in these movies. The producers of these films are quite sure that Vimala Raman would remain the crowd puller to the theatres during this summer.

Rangeela + Dhoom + Murder = Raaj

Rangeela + Dhoom + Murder = Raaj
No harm in drawing inspiration from all time blockbusters. Here is director VN Aditya who seems to have brought all his experience to fore in cooking a special spicy Biryani for Telugu movie lovers in the name of ‘Raaj.’ As movie is slated to hit the screens on 18th of the month, trailers and stills of the movie are raising the temperatures in this scorching summer.
The hot and spicy songs picturized on Priyamani in ‘Raaj;’ one in the beach, one in the bedroom with hot smooches is reminding the audience all time spicy blockbusters of Rangeela, Dhoom (Abhishek Bachchan with Rimi Sen) and Mallika Sherawat. With hopes of Sumanth totally based upon Priyamani and Vimala Raman’s extra oomph, audience might get their paisa vasool entertainment with this jumbo pack. Control your nerves till 18th.
