One of the most eligible bachelors in the town is none other than Manchu Manoj. With majority of top businessmen and their hot daughters trying hard to bag Manoj, the hero has something other in his kit. With changing times, Telugu audiences are getting sick of regular formulaic flicks and are looking eagerly for a change. When it comes to versatility, the only name that comes on the top list is Manchu Manoj. The young hero is ready to don villain roles too if the script satisfies him. From the last three years, Manoj is working on one such dream project titled 'Oo Kodathara, Vulikki Padathaara', a period film directed by Rajasekhar Raju. To concentrate on the core of this flick, Manoj has decided to drop his marriage plans until the film completes, say reports. The actor even stopped using his cell phone and internet to the fullest before convincing his family about the late marriage proposal. This is the same flick, where Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing a vital role.

Caste Politics in Mohan Babu's Family

The most talked about family of Telugu Cinema Industry is on the verge of dividing as per Film Nagar talks. Caste based divisions are said to be shaking the family before a feud started over sharing of assets. Apparently, top people from different castes have taken sides on behalf of Mohan Babu's kin and kith. Vishnu and his wife Veronica are enjoying the fullest support of Reddy clan, as this flop-hero's wife hails from the same clan. On the other side Manoj is being patronized by top Kamma and Kapu clans. Hailing from Kamma clan, Manoj has good base in Kapus too and this could be due to his friendship with Allu Arjun. Finally, Lakshmi Prasanna is the one who cannot join any side as her husband Andy Srinivasan is a converted Christian from Brahmin. Anyhow, Lakshmi always stays with her younger brother and the recent movie launch function is an evidence of this. Manchu Manoj to romance Ileana?

Manchu Manoj is all set to start the regular shoot of his dream project Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara from 6th June. The movie is a period film set in 19th and 20th century, being produced by Lakshmi Prasanna on the banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Padmashree Mohan Babu is presenting it.

Rajashekar Raju, a debutant is wielding the megaphone for the film. Yuvaratna Bala Krishna is playing a vital role in the film. The latest buzz is the hourglass beauty Ileana is zeroed in for the leading lady role in the film while Deeksha Seth will play second fiddle to her. However, the news hasn’t been confirmed by any of the makers of the film yet.

Young hero taking care of Ileana!?

The two big flops of ‘Shakti’ and ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ kept Ileana’s long standing career in a dilemma. She ran away Bollywood to complete ‘Barfee’ and Kollywood for ‘Nanban’ taking a second temporary break from Tollywood. But reports are coming the other way about young hero manchu manoj showing too much of interest on Ileana and wants to cast her in ‘Uu Kodathaaraa Ulikki Padathaaraa’ which is to start on June 6 on their home banner. Earlier Manoj attempted even for Shriya in the film ‘Mr. Nokia’ but the sexy lady is middle dropped. So, Manoj wants to take care of Ileana in making sure that she will not walk out from project after the start of shooting. This would be first experience for Manoj to romance a star heroine, if this news from Film Nagar is genuine. Let us see how far Ileana will co-operate Manoj.

Manchu Manoj in socio-fantasy flick

The variety hero Manchu Manoj is all set to take off with a new movie and this has been titled as Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathaara. Sources say that this is going to be a socio fantasy flick and it will commence shooting from June 6th onwards. The film is being made on the backdrop of 19th century and this is being directed by Rajasekhar Raju while Lakshmi Manchu is the producer. Further details about the film would be revealed soon.

Manchu Manoj Using Bunny 'Fully'

Well, a source from Kerala reports that Manoj is all set to arrive with his movie ‘Bindaas’ in Malayalam. And here is the twist. It is heard that he has titled the film ‘Happy 2’ and not stopping at that, he has put the picture of Allu Arjun on the posters.

To those who are not aware, Bunny has a good following in Kerala and he shot to fame with his movie ‘Happy’ there. Now, with Manchu Manoj using Bunny to the fullest in the coconut land, let us wait to see if that will result in any income at the box office or not.

Nokia Manoj in full swing for UKUP

Upset with shoulder surgery which took long time to recuperate, Manoj is already busy with completion of ‘Mr. Nokia’ in direction of Anil Krishna with a tag line of ‘No Caption…Only Action’.  We have Kriti Kharbhanda and Sana Khan playing the lead roles besides Manoj. Besides this, there is one more film ‘Uu Kodathaaraa Ulikki Padathaaraa’ that is to be made on international standards.  Rajasekhar Raju is the director while Manchu Lakshmi is producer and UKUP will be launched on June 6. This is going to be a socio fantasy film made with lavish settings from Bhupesh R Bhupathi and a socio fantasy backdrop of 19th century. Great to see young hero doing two films in parallel. Besides all these, Nokia Babu is also ready to loose his bachelor status in next year.

Manoj suffers 'Mohan Babu' syndrome

Earlier Chitramala informed that another Tollywood hero Manchu Manoj’s marriage has been fixed with a famous TDP Leader daughter from Guntur. Now the latest buzz is that engagement ceremony is going to be held on June 12th. As per the reports she is studying her Engineering in Hyderabad presently. Both the families have fixed the marriage but they are keeping this as secret till the engagement time. It is heard that this is purely an arranged marriage and the marriage will happen after a year. Presently Manchu Manoj is busy with shooting of his upcoming film Mr Nokia and he also signed a film titled "Ookodatara Ulikki Padatara", which is produced by her sister Lakshmi Prasanna.

Secret Behind Mohan Babu's School!!

Usually, the set up of an educational institution comes from noble inspiration but if sources are to be believed then the establishment of Sri Vidya Niketan group by Mohan Babu seems to have a slightly different backdrop. Well, they say that the prime reason for that is Manchu Manoj and here are few details.
 
It is heard that Manoj who was Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan student was a major bully while in his 6th, 7th standard time. Sources say he was quite violent as well and didn’t hesitate to bash up anyone and everyone. Now, one such incident involved his classmate and it is heard that unable to bear Manoj’s bullying and behaviour, one teacher got involved during one incident and gave Manoj a thrashing.
 
For this, the source reveals our man unable to control his temper and he threw whatever he could find on the teacher and then he ran away. Later in the evening, it is heard that Mohan Babu came directly, located the same teacher and bashed him up black and blue.
 
At this point, it is heard that Manchu Manoj was debarred from appearing for the exams of Bhavans. Unable to bear all this, Mohan Babu reportedly made a declaration in front of all. It seems he said “My children don’t have to study at another school’s mercy, they will study in their own school. I will come up with much better school than this one”. The rest as they say is history.

Balakrishna in a guest role!

Balakrishna is to set new trend. He has agreed to play a guest role in another hero's movie. According to our sources, Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu have approached Balakrishna to play this important character in their next production starring Manchu Manoj in the lead role. After hearing the script, Balakrishna said to have given his green signal.

Sources say, Balakrishna is very fond of Manchu Manoj. That was another reason for the actor to say yes to this film titled Uu Kodutara Ulikki Padutara.

Newcomer Raja is directing this socio-fantasy film being produced by Lakshmi Prasanna.

'Something..Something' Between Charmee And Manoj??

They have not acted together in any films. Devisri Prasad has not composed music for any of their films. But the film ‘Political Rowdy’ which was produced by Mohan Babu had Charmee in it and Manchu Vishnu did a guest role in that.

In one of the press meets at that time, Mohan Babu stated that Vishnu is eyeing Charmee and added that once when he was checking Charmee’s new phone, he saw a strong love message coming from Vishnu. Now, we don’t know how this love transferred from Vishnu to Manoj but right now, both Manoj-Charmee have become best friends. It is known news that Charmee has been keeping Devisri Prasad at a distance since she realizes that an affair with him is more of a loss than benefit.

It is heard that Manoj who was seen as the chief guest for the audio release of Charmee’s ‘Mangala’ is in regular touch with the charming girl. It is also heard that he is giving advices, suggestions to Charmee in her career. The highlight is, Charmee has managed a role in ‘Dongala Mutha’ on the recommendation of Lakshmi Manchu, Manoj’s elder sister.

Tapsee Enjoyed More With Vishnu Than Manoj

Tapsee revealed that she enjoyed working with Vishnu in a better way than that of Manoj. She also said that the energy levels in Vishnu are more than that of Manoj.

It is known that Tapsee's first film is Jhummandi Nadan in which Manoj played the lead. Much before the release of that film itself Tapsee got the offer to act beside Vishnu.

"I was a bit tensed during the shoot of Jhummandi Nadam as that was my first film. I couldn’t enjoy much then. But now with Vasthadu Na Raju, I got relieved from tension and started enjoying every minute. Apart from that Jhummandi Nadam was directed by veteran Raghavendra Rao which added to my tension but Vastadu Na Raju is directed by youngster Hemanath who used to crack jokes and make things easier. I enjoyed every moment and Vishnu's wife Veranica also co-operated a lot to me".
