Youtube Torture For Tollywood Music Directors

One of the greatest gifts to mankind is internet and a precious gift from internet is the youtube site. A click on this will give you access to some unbelievable videos. However, this famous site has now become the source of torture for many Tollywood music directors.

Apparently, their plagiarising skills are getting exposed due to the site. An avid netizen and cine buff who is also part of the cine circuit revealed “It is an open secret that our music directors keep copying foreign songs and rehash it in their own way. But with Youtube coming in, people know from where they are copied”

The source added “Even the likes of Mani Sharma, R P Patnaik, Keeravani tend to draw maximum inspiration from foreign soils and compose the desi tunes.” While Youtube may be a bane for these folks, at the same time it is also showing how A R Rahman’s tunes have been copied by the Arabic music world. Call it the two sides of a coin folks…

Star Music Directors Torturing Directors

If you thought that it is only the big stars and heroines who give a tough time to the directors then read this. The list also has music directors in it. Apparently, strong film nagar sources have revealed that lately, the star music directors are showing stars to the directors with their tantrums.

A budding director who did few films said “Except people like V V Vinayak, Rajamouli, Trivikram Srinivas, Puri Jagannadh and Srinu Vaitla, all other directors are being played football by star music directors. They don’t agree to changes in tunes and when we insist, they are getting angry and stop working.”

He added “It is becoming intolerable to put up with their tantrums. So, the small directors are now planning to encourage new talent and give chances to worthy music makers. As such, there is no healthy atmosphere while working with these star music directors.”

Music Director Mad After Udayabhanu!!

Though she is nearing 40, she still looks like 20 and that’s one reason why many are crazy about Udayabhanu. Even someone like Sekhar Kammula became her fan and got her to do an item song in his ‘Leader’. Now, music director Raghu Kunche has openly declared in a program in Gemini TV as to how crazy he is about Udayabhanu.
Raghu made his debut with ‘Bumper Offer’ as a music director after a successful stint as a singer. He also scored tunes for the recent release ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’.
Recently, Raghu participated in the program ‘Nuvvu-Nenu’ which is hosted by Udayabhanu and he declared his craze for her publicly. When he was asked to sing a song, Raghu sang songs that expressed his admiration for Udayabhanu.
At one point, he was singing a song and flooded with emotion of love, Raghu not only stood up from his place and began to dance but also caught Udayabhanu’s hand, made her stand up and pressured her to dance with him. Though Raghu became desperate about hugging Udayabhanu tightly, she put few steps in her own style and didn’t give Raghu that luck freely. But still, like a true lover, Raghu went on his knees, raised his hands in air and expressed his heart’s feelings and love feelings. That way, he gave a lot of entertainment to the Gemini TV viewers.
Not only that, Raghu also declared that before he dies he wants to act with Udayabhanu in atleast one film. Noticing Raghu Kunche’s ‘Crush’ on her and all this happening on a live show caused a bit of embarrassment, Udayabhanu used her presence of mind and stated that Raghu is the first among her long list of admirers and declared that both of them are good friends since many days. And ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ is more like a quiz program wherein Raghu Kunche won Rs 1 lakh as prize money. Now, the suspense is whether Raghu took the money home or whether he added some extra money to that and gave it as a gift to Udayabhanu as a mark of their ‘friendship’.

Music Director running away from fans

Music Director running away from fansMelody Brahma Mani Sharma is the successful music composer in contemporary times. He became care of address for top stars in South film circuit. Delivering great melodies, mass tracks and remixes is a cake walk for Mani. From last few years the below standard music offered to many heroes humiliated the fans living him on the extreme border limit of total collapse.

Particularly audio of 'Shakti' and 'Teen Maar' badly disappointed audience. This kind of music was never anticipated from a classic composer of his stature. The cine folks say that competition from Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, Keeravani and other new names is creating pressure on Mani to deliver the best. This burden in turn resulted in low quality compositions. Apparently he is now trying to escape from Power Star and Young Tiger fans.

Son Strokes For Music Directors

It is a common tradition to see those who are associated with the cine industry to get their next generation into the same line. This is common with actors, directors, producers and music directors. However, it appears that the fate of few senior music directors has not been that lucky when it comes to their kids.

The cine folks say that the senior man Koti has moved heaven and earth to make his son Rajeev a good star but so far, he has not even got a proper break. It is also heard that Mani Sharma has also been on similar trials since three years for his son but still no break so far.

Those who heard this say “career in cinema is not hereditary; one must possess the right kind of talent, connections and that stroke of fate to make a mark. For now, it looks like Mani and Koti have to live with these son strokes. Let us hope things change and bring them few good moments”.

Rajamouli challenges Music Director!

Rajamouli challenges Music Director!
The best combination of director and music composer would do wonders for a film. SS Rajamouli and MM Keeravani stands best example of understanding and rapport between two technicians. Rajamouli visualizes exactly the same as what his brother thinks. Till now, every film in their combination is a blockbuster musically and commercially.

The experimental flick of 'Eega' with one animated character as hero and some other live characters has become a challenge for both. Rajamouli as a technican already pre-visualized entire movie and narrated it to Keeravani asking to compose three songs, gripping background for film. Moods and situations in this kind of flicks are totally different, novelistic from regular movies. Keeping the expectations, new thought process of Rajamouli in mind, Keeravani took 'Eega' as a challenge to his receptivity. What remains to be seen is how far music magician reached the outlook of screen magician.
