As she is to go for lots of skin show, she had to go for a bath scene in bath tub with soap gently rubbed on her body. Poor lady’s total skin is spoilt as soon as she got out from the tub. Vidya developed rashes so severely that she is immediately rushed to dermatologist near by. Feeling uncomfortable with this infection, shooting has been cancelled. It was later revealed that rashes were probably an outcome of the soap used in the scene which didn’t suit to Vidya's skin. Better that producers and directors from now on canning these bath tub scenes use the particular brand of soap which is recommended by heroine else tup troubles will continue.

Vidya Balan, who is acting the ‘Dirty Picture’, a film on the life history of Silk Smitha has suffered severe rashes all over her skin after performing in a bathtub scene. As soon as the scene was shot she jumped out from bath tub, showered with water and ran out from bathroom scratching her body.

The unit members rushed her to hospital and the doctor examining the skin said, “It’s an allergic rash due to soap”.

The shooting was called off for the day and Vidya was asked to take rest with a few allergy tablets. Now Vidya is getting well and indeed, the brand of that soap cannot be revealed here as it affects its sales!
