It took four hours to settle down the matter before the hero of the film Udhayanidhi Stalin, intervened to resolve issue. Fearing the wrath of the Kollywood Technician's Union, the actress changed her mind to send her make-up man back to Mumbai. According to the rules of the Tamil film industry, a technician should get the Union's ID card to work in the Tamil film industry. The rule is made to protect the interest of the local-born talents. The film 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' is the debut film of Udhayanidhi Stalin(Grandson of former Tamilnadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi) as hero. Hansika Motwani is playing the main female lead in the film.

Tollywood's latest sensation Tapsee is quite upset with the way things were going on around her. Though she shared a good rappot with Kajal, her co-star in 'Mr.Perfect' and 'Veera', that doesn't seem to happen anyone in future. First it was, trimming off her role in the recently released flick 'Verra', and alloting more screen space to her co-star Kajal. He sexually exploited me: Actress Vijayalakshmi

Actress Vijayalakshmi has lodged a complaint on Wednesday against Tamil director Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam (NTI). In her four page complaint Vijayalakshmi has said that she was having a close relationship with Seeman for three years, who is now refusing to marry her. The actress and the director became close during the filming of 'Vaazhthugal'. Vijayalakshmi has reportedly complained that the filmmaker has sexually exploited her and now he is declining to tie the knot. "Vijayalakshmi and Seeman have been in relationship for three years.  Since he refused to marry her and obviously ditched her, Vijayalakshmi has now approached the police to take legal action against Seeman," said a police officer. Vijayalakshmi has acted in many movies and also in television mega-serials. She came with her counsels to the commissioner's office and submitted the petition at 2.30 pm. The petition was immediately forwarded to the T Nagar deputy commissioner of police S Thirunavukarasu for further investigation. It may be recalled that Vijaya Lakshmi, had attempted to commit suicide in 2006 after she was harassed by an assistant director of a reality show, which was hosted by her. Later that year, she announced her marriage with a small-time Kannada actor Srujan Lokesh, but their relationship did not last long as they broke up in 2007. According to the sources, Seeman is planning to get married to a Srilankan Tamil girl and the preparations are going on in full swing. Earlier, Seeman has raised his voice for the uplift of Tamils in the island nation of Sri Lanka.

Hot beauty Minissha Lamba, who was detained by customs authorities for 16 long hours at Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared jewellery worth Rs.50 lakh while returning from her much-hyped visit to the Cannes Film Festival, says there will be no case against her. "I have given my statement and the fact is that the jewels don't belong to me. They were given to me to wear at Cannes by Anmol Jewellers, so I don't think there is any case against me. The jewelers will be called to verify that is it their jewels and that's it. It's an open and shut case," the 26-year-old actress told. Adding to the mysery, the actress lost one of her bags at Nice airport. "The Cannes experience was fantastic, only the last day was a bit stressful because I lost my bag and when I returned, I was detained," said the actress. However, Minissha Lamba also said during a press briefing that a minor mistake led to the trouble. "I was not aware of the complex procedure of customs. A minor mistake happened from my side due to which I was questioned by the Mumbai Customs. As you knew Celebrities are easy targets," she said. Customs Officials said that they try to spread awareness about regulations and the penalties their breach entails, but passengers show reluctance to follow norms. And when caught, they have a ready excuse they do not know what the rules are. "We normally try our best to educate the passengers with our ready handouts which specify the customs guidelines to be followed. Some passengers follow them, but many do not bother. To ensure norms are not flouted, we want to convey a strong message by exposing high-profile cases like that of Minissha Lamba," said a top official of Mumbai Customs.
