The last few days has seen a skirmish between Nithya Menon and the media circles, the reason for that was her statement regarding Prabhas. As such, Prabhas is known to be a cool cucumber but many expected him to react aggressively and unleash the young rebel star inside him.

However, here is an interesting update. It is heard that Prabhas called Nithya and said “Hello Madam, people call me Prabhas, I have acted in films like ‘Chatrapathi’ and the recent ‘Darling’ ‘Mr Perfect’.” While the conversation went on for a while, it is heard that Prabhas did that in fun.

In return, sources say Nithya had her share of words “I didn’t mean it that way but the media has twisted my words. I just said that for fun and the media promoted it extremely in a reverse style. How can I not know you?” Well, those who shared this have stated that both Prabhas- Nithya have become good friends.

It is known news that Kajal Agarwal has created quite a storm with her set of statements during the promotion of her Bollywood film ‘Singham’.

The starlet’s words that she doesn’t like carrying the tag of a Tollywood heroine, adding that her life ambition is to be known as a Bollywood heroine has definitely rubbed many in the wrong side and they are feeling insulted in Tollywood.

Surprisingly, even Bollywood folks are criticising Kajal that she has no gratitude. Now, the update is that Kajal has been sobbing bitterly about the comments she made by mistake. Knowing this, Prabhas has reportedly rushed to Mumbai to boost her spirits and give her a shoulder to cry on.

Just recently, it was reported that the Malayalam beauty Nithya Menon was abrupt in her statements at a press meet. In that, she also belittled the presence of Prabhas as though she didn’t even know someone like Prabhas existed in Tollywood. While the cine folks and media folks were surprised and fuming a bit, here is another side of the coin.

It is heard that there is a good reason behind why Nithya did that. Sources say that when the film ‘Rebel’ was planned, the makers thought of Nithya Menon as the lead. However, buzz is that it was Prabhas who said no to her and added that she was too short and it will not work out.

Apparently, this news reached Nithya and that’s why she took her share of vengeance. However, those who got to know this are saying “For the private opinion of Prabhas, Nithya gave a public insult.” They quip “Mallu Kutty Potti Dhi but Chaala Gattidhi”.

Nithya Menon, who mesmerised the telugu audience with her impressive debut with 'Ala Modalaindi', has surprised the mediapersons with her unusual comments. The actress was in the city to participate in a few promotional events for her upcoming film '180', which is touted to release on June 25th. When a reporter asked whether she would accept a role opposite macho hero Prabhas(who is 6 ft tall), if an offer comes her way. The short-girl replied: "Who's Prabhas?". The reporter has asked the query on Prabhas, after coming to know that Nithya refused to star in Venkatesh's film citing age difference between them. The media, who were present at the pressmeet got shock of their life with Nithya's remarks. The question is whether - She really don't know who Prabhas is? Or Her reply is just a counter to reporter's query? However, Nithya tried to cover up the damage by saying she hardly watches Telugu films and so she don't know to many Tollywood Stars. But, it's a basic thing that actresses should atleast have some idea of the star heroes in the industry in which they are working for earning some quick bucks. And most importantly, ignoring Prabhas, who is the most sought after hero in Tollywood is a big mistake Nithya has ever done.

NTR-Prabhas Fans Hurt With 'Vaadu Veedu'

The latest offering on the screens is ‘Vaadu Veedu’ and though this has not got the appreciation from the audience, it sure has rubbed the fans of Prabhas and NTR Junior on the wrong side. Well, the reason for that is one of the scenes in the film with some controversial dialogues.

The scene has Arya talking about his step brother (played by Vishal) and his acting abilities receiving appreciation from hero Suriya (who gave a guest appearance). He says “I am very happy with my brother’s acting. Now see what is going to happen. Suriya will go to Hyderabad and promote my brother. Even heroes like NTR, Prabhas will s**t in their pants.”

Fans of Junior and Prabhas who saw this are hurt with it. Already, the dialogues from Bala in the film have been quite extreme. And with specific lines belittling the Telugu stars, the negative impact has increased. Wonder what the censor folks were doing about it.

Prabhas is no more 'Darling' for Kajal

On the screen, pairing of Prabhas and kajal agarwal is one of the best and successful. Their combo in ‘Darling’ remained best example to show their developing of new bond even off the screen. Luckily same flavor is sustained in ‘Mr. Perfect.’ Thanks to the handy work of gossip mongers who made their entire love affair rumor look like a reality. How ever still there is news that Prabhas and Kajal are darlings for each other.

Here is this saucy looking beauty readying tomake her debut in Kannada industry very soon. Kajal will be seen opposite hero Darshan in the movie which titled as ‘Bul Bul,’ which will be a remake of our super hit ‘Darling.’ Impressed by the cute looks of Kajal, producer Dhinakar Darshan and director Sridhar are known to have planned this project especially to mark the foray of Kajal into Sandalwood. So, Kajal is to work on this newer version of ‘Darling’ very soon.

Megastar praised my work: Prabhas

Young rebel star Prabhas is super happy these days. It is partly because of the box office success of Mr Perfect and also because Mega Star Chiranjeeevi himself called Prabhas to congratulate him. Apparently even Allu Arjun sent flowers to Prabhas after watching Mr.Perfect.

“I am happy for good collections and rave reviews for Mr Perfect. But what is more touching is Allu Arjun watched the film with his wife Sneha Reddy and then sent me flowers appreciating my work. He told me that he wept while watching a few emotional scenes in the movie. Even Mega Star Chiranjeevi called me and congratulated me for acting in this film. He told me that he too saw the film and asked me to publicize the movie enough. This is the best compliment  I ever got” Prabhas told media personnel this week.

Prabhas’s Mr.Perfect has been declared this Summer’s biggest hit. He is now all set to start shooting for ‘Rebel’ with Larencce as the director. Once that movie is complete, he will start shooting for a period film with S S Rajamouli as the director.

Naga Chaitanya's Payment Higher Than Prabhas

Naga Chaitanya is now silently crawling up the ladder of success. His first film ‘Josh’ faired average while his subsequent film ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ has set box office records. The latest film ‘100 Percent Love’ is also doing well at the box office.

The news is that he has taken the satellite rights as remuneration and didn’t take any pay check directly from the producer. Considering the success factor of the film, the satellite rights are now getting the offer up to Rs 5 Cr. This need not be the formula of Naga Chaitanya for every film, although he did the same thing even with Ye Maya Chesave.

But for Mr Perfect, all that Prabhas got as remuneration is Rs 4 Cr.

That way Naga Chaitanya got bigger pay check than Prabhas.

Prabhas's Mother Disapproves Kajal!!

News has been making rounds that Kajal who paired up back to back with Prabhas in ‘Darling’ ‘Mr Perfect’ became his darling and considered him to be her Mr Perfect. In this process, sources say Kajal got prepared to marry Prabhas.

On the other hand, there is also news that Prabhas enjoyed the company of Kajal and the thought of having this company for the rest of his life also was there in him.

Buzz is that he was the one who proposed marriage to Kajal. Now, talk in film nagar is that while his family members reluctantly said yes to Prabhas, his mother not only opposed it but gave a strong dose of firing. With this, sources say Prabhas has put a full stop to the thought of marrying Kajal inevitably. Those who know Prabhas reveal that just like the way he adores his mother in ‘Chatrapathi’, he has 100 times strong affection for his mother in real life so marrying Kajal against his mother’s wishes is impossible.

Very often when star kids or kids from star families make their foray into the film industry, the expectations are high. Mr Perfect Pre Release Talk!

Young Rebel star Prabhas’s upcoming film “Mr Perfect” is ready to hit the screens worldwide on tomorrow (April 22nd, 2011). The movie got the clean U certificate from the censor board and it also got the compliments from the censor board to film unit for making the neat and complete family entertainer. Movie makers are planning to release the movie in more than 500 theaters.

It is a very long period of 10 years that Pawan Kalyan never delivered a super hit like 'Khushi' or 'Tholi Prema'. Although producers lost faith on him with 'Johnny', 'Gudumba Shankar', 'Bangaram', 'Balu' and 'Puli', this is time for power star to regain his lost glory with 'Teen Maar'. Rao Gari Abbai   
A foot tapping number, the song has got traces of Michael Jackson’s pop beats. Devisri has used the western beats and gave energy to the song. Tippu has given the male vocals while Megha has supported him with her melodious voice. As usual, there is an abrupt beat in the tune and this lacks melody. Ananth Sriram came up with simple lines and didn’t put much effort. Overall, an average song…
        
Chali Chaliga   
A chirpy song, Devisri Prasad has taken the song on a melodious note and this time, he has maintained a consistent beat without any variation. Guitar, Drums, violin, synthesizers is the key instruments and they are in sync. Shreya Ghoshal rendered a mellifluous feel to it and gives depth. Ananth Sriram used simple and understandable lines but conveyed the essence of love in a tender way.
        
Ningi Jaaripadda   
A regular fast paced song, the number has healthy energy to it. Devisri Prasad used his trademark beats and instruments and one can hear traces of Arya, Current. The duration of the number is short but Mallikarjun has given a good energy to it and improvised at required places. Ramajogayya Sastri has penned the lyrics but this time his lines were plain without much effort.
        
Dol Dol Dol Bhaje 
This is more of a folk song but with modern beats. Given Devisri Prasad’s flavor, one can see the urban instrumental to the traditional tune. He has maintained a constant background beat changing the upper levels. The trio of MLR, Karthikeyan, Anitha pitched in with high energy levels and pepped up the number. Lyricist Balaji used decent lines and conveyed the essence of marriage appropriately.
        
Mora VinaraA soothing and melodious tune, the opening takes off in a nice manner and Devisri touches the classic style of beats to it. The use of Ghatam, Tabla, flute and other traditional instruments is well synergized, he should have avoided the drum beats in between. Priyadarshini gives soul to it with her honey filled voice. G. Sathyamurthy penned the lyrics and he used a good mix of poetic, modern and teasing words to the song.
        
Aakasam BadhalainaThis is a peppy song and Devisri comes alive with all sorts of techno beats and treading on his favorite ground of western flavor. The speed in the song is quite effective. This is a duet and Sagar, Megha gave a very youthful taste to the song. Both shared a good chemistry in their vocals and up the energies. Ananth Sriram also gave a trendy set of lines and this is a song that will catch the youngsters well.
        
Aggipulla LantiThis is a naughty song and it has good element of mischief in it. Though the backdrop seems to be countryside, Devisri never lets go of his western beats and he uses the right amount of guitar, constant background beat, few techno tunes and gets it going. The real credit goes to Gopika Poornima for giving the teasing effect and filling it with good energy. Rama Jhogaya Sastry shows his mettle by weaving the words in rhythm and girls will feel proud listening to this.
        
Badhulu Thochani  
An emotional song, the number opens up very well and Devisri shows depth in his music with this. He composes the right kind of tune and syncs it with beats that touch the hearts. This has Karthik, Mallikharjun rendering their voices and as usual, Karthik excels by giving that right stress on intense points. Lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry shows his class with the apt words and he conveys the exact agitation of the heart. This is a good one.
        
Light Theesko   
An interesting song with foot tapping opening, this is a fast paced song and filled with high adrenaline. Devisri shows his mettle in this by getting a harmonium, guitar, drums combo and giving it a refreshing feel.  Baba Sehgal, Murali are the singers and Baba always makes it a point to take the song to an elevated level. Rama Jhogaya Sastry also joins the party with his joy filled words. Overall, a fun song…

Firstly, it is time Devisri Prasad comes up with more soul stirring tunes and comes out of his stereotype beats and raps. Though there are those occasional flashes of brilliance, there is a repetitive mode seen in terms of the mixing and a constant background beat. Melody is missing in most of the songs and the focus is more on energy and peppy touch. On the whole, this is not an album to caliber of Devisri.

I lost weight to look 'Mr Perfect':Prabhas

Prabhas, Kajal and Taapsee starrer 'Mr Perfect' launched its audio a couple of days ago in CBIT College in Hyderabad.The usually reclusive Prabhas spoke about his film and his hardships to bring in a fresh look to his charecter.

He revealed that he had to lose weight and change his hair style completely to bring in new look to his role.

"I lost weight and have a lean look in the film.My new hair do added to the new look.I am eager to see how audience respond to this look" Prabhas said. Infact he is seen in different looks in all his movies. In Darling, he wore a loose trouser and sported a mush.In Billa and Ek Niranjan too he sported a different style from his previous films.

The first look and the trailers of Mr Perfect got a thumbs up for its fresh appeal. Dasarath is directing this project and Dil Raju is producing it on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.This film is up for release next month.
