Karthika, daughter of yesteryear heroine Radha, is under the scanner after Simbu refused to act opposite her in K V Anand's('Veedokkade' fame) film Ko!('Rangam' in Telugu). Simbu had done a photo shoot with the girl before opting out of the project just a few days prior to the film's first schedule in China. However, the director has stood by his decision to retain Karthika. He has gone ahead with the shoot, replacing Simbu with Jiiva The film 'KO' has been released last week and became a instant hit and also Karthika has been receiving critical acclaims for her performance. All these developments has come as a shocking blow to playboy Simbu. According to the sources, Simbu is staying far away from media glare after the release of Ko!. Karthika is happy that her debut in Tamil has taken off in the right note. When reporters wanted to known if she would ever act with Simbu, if an opportunity came her way, the actress responded with: "Did I fight with Simbu". The actress has said that she doesn't mind sharing the screen space with anyone provided the story suits her. However, Karthika played safe by not sending a wrong message to the media. Most importantly Radha's role in this entire issue can't be neglected. |
