For any film to score on the technical and visual front, the locations play a key role. And it is the job of the director to come up with such locations depending on the scene and mood of the film. Right now, it is heard that one young director has been given the title of ‘Location King’.
He is Sampath Nandi. Currently busy with his second directorial venture ‘Rachcha’ it is heard that Sampath has been spending more time exploring new locations than planning the shooting schedules. Of course, his efforts seem to work as he canned a fight sequence in a snow covered bamboo forest of China.
While the idea of adding strong locations to a film makes sense, there are those who say Sampath should give the same focus on the content of ‘Rachcha’. Otherwise, it will become the case of the famous Hyderabad saying “Upar Se Taj Mahal, Andar Se Gosha Mahal”.
