The hot news in media today is that CPM is planning to launch a Television Channel. With already too many TV channels in AP, the crowd is getting stronger, at least number wise. The viewers will have more choice to choose from. Now the people can also get to know the ideology and the aspirations of CPM better.
That being a positive point, there are other reasons why CPM has decided to launch a channel of their own. For now, it is said that almost all major parties in AP have at least one TV channel to support them and to bring their views to public. YSR Congress has Sakshi, TDP has Studio N and ABN also, TRS has T. News and Majlis has 4 TV. However, Congress will also have a mouthpiece Channel, when Chirajeevi launches his TV. With all this, it is evident that only Communist Parties are not having a channel to talk about their policies and views. Though CPM's Raghavulu, CPI's Narayana and Telakapalli Ravi of Prajashakthi, Srinivas Reddy of Vishalandhra are often seen on TV screen, that is only as guests or some political commentators, wherein they do not get ample opportunity to bring out their Communistic viewpoints.
May be this proposal to own their channel will quench their thirst for space in the politically charged AP. There are also rumours that Telakapalli Ravi may head the channel in the offing. So, all Communist friends in the media, get your flags right and jump to capture your seat... in the new channel!!
