Telugu Producers Running For 'Kolaveri' Rights

It is a common trend to see a song becoming a raging hit in the local circuit before the release of a film. But it is very rare that a song, that from the regional circuit, creating havoc across the entire nation. Well, something like that is happening right now and the cause for that is the song ‘Kolaveri Di..’ from the Tamil film ‘3’.

Rendered by hero Dhanush and composed by a young director named Anirudh, the song has become a major cracker. The way the song become a hit no song has achieved that. As expected, many producers are now approaching the director of the film Aishwaryaa to use the track and buy the rights.

Incidentally, Aishwaryaa is wife of Dhanush and daughter of superstar Rajinikanth. This film happens to be her debut venture and thanks to ‘Kolaveri Di…’, she has become a national name. However, it remains to be seen whether anyone has got lucky as far as bagging the rights are concerned.
