SV Krishna Reddy is one popular director who ruled Tollywood for a certain period of time with his comedy blockbusters. Experimental casting and rib tickling jokes are the primary weapons of this once celebrated director. With his 'Yamaleela', the comedy of cow's 'pidaka' directly on a wall got popularized immensely. Noise is heard in Film Nagar that SVK is soon going to direct a mega budgeted Hollywood flick that will feature this 'Pidaka' comedy. The overall content of the movies will be a contemporary story set in the lines of 'Yamaleela'. Critics are saying that making a movie in Hollywood is so easy and marketing the flick to reach all corners through its content is an acid test. If the 'pidaka comedy' works out in Hollywood, then without any exaggeration we can easily say that Tollywood is at par with American Cinema in making spoof films. |
