Glamour queen-turned-politician and MP Jayaprada is going to play a new role; of course not in films again, but in politics. She, along with her friend, guide and philosopher Amar Singh, is going to remain in the national politics, setting aside the earlier speculations that she would come back to Andhra Pradesh politics, either by returning to the Telugu Desam Party or joining the YSR Congress party.
Amar Singh is now all set to float a new party – Rashtriya Lok Manch – and Jayaprada is going to play a crucial role in the new party.
They would contest the elections only from Uttar Pradesh.
Both Amar Singh and Jayaprada, who are always seen together, performed Rahu-Ketu pooja at Srikalahasti temple on Friday and had a darshan of Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala on Saturday. And Jayaprada announced that the party would be floated on July 5 and thereafter, they would all parts of the country to spread the party activities.
