'Rakta Charitra' Lyricist Kaluva Sai No More

Kaluva Sai, the lyricist who shot to fame with the film ‘Rakta Charitra’ breathed his last on the late hours of 23rd June. He was died of heart failure at his residence in Giddaluru, Prakasam District.

He was brought into film industry by Ram Gopal Varma much before ‘Adavi’ on the recommendation of JD Chakravarthy. Kaluva Sai is known to people with ‘Rakta Charitra’ due to the vibrant and violent lyrics in it.

Close friends of Kaluva Sai say that heavy consumption of alcohol is one of the reasons that took his life away.
