Hero-turned-character actor Suman made a surprising statement on Sunday, expressing his solidarity with the movement for separate Telangana state.Suman appeared at the Hyderabad-Cooks-On-Roads programme organized by the Telangana Joint Action Committee at Hi-tech City on Sunday along with Vijayashanti, Harish Rao and Congress MLA Vishnuvardhan Reddy. He said he had decided to extend support to the Telangana agitaton, because the demand was genuine. Many a time, he felt that injustice was meted out to the region under the integrated state.
Suman said he was very much moved by the suicides committed by students for the Telangana statehood. He asked the students to fight for the state relentlessly and not give up their lives. He demanded that the Centre should take an early decision on Telangana statehood and end the stalemate.
