Starring Pawan Kalyan, this is being directed by Harish Shankar. Recently, Harish was sharing his thoughts on his Twitter handle when he tweeted like this - Great day; Talked to David Dhawan one of my favt directors; He appreciated the changes I made in "Dabangg". :).

Those who read the tweet mentioned “By stating this, Harish has leaked that he made changes in the remake. Mostly, the plot would be the same but he must have developed nativity to suit Pawan’s image and Tollywood audience taste.” The others say there is no secret about it as it was bound to happen.
