Soon-to-be-wound up Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi seems to have lost the public appeal even in his home constituency – Tirupati.
On Friday, several wall posters have appeared in the temple town, which read: “Our MLA Chiranjeevi is missing. Suitable Award will be given for those who find him.”
The posters were pasted by the students of Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University, who have regretted that the MLA, who was supposed to attend to the problems of the constituency, was avoiding the people. The students later lodged a formal “missing complaint” to the Tirupati police.
Ironically, Chirajeevi has not been seen by the people not only in Tirupati, but also in Hyderabad. He was visible at the birthday function of Hyderabad Mayor Banda Karthika Reddy’s nephew on Thursday.
He also held a meeting of all the PRP MLAs in the wake of no-confidence motion notice given by the Telugu Desam Party against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government. But he has not addressed any press conference, nor is he going into the people to keep up his image.
Lord Venkateshwara alone can save the megastar!
