Dealing with subjects related to god always runs on a fine line between risk and success. That holds very strongly for the cine folks. Right now, it appears that even the top shot producer Allu Aravind seems to have realized that, thanks to his recent offering ‘Badrinath’.
Prior to the film’s release, the total focus on publicity was on Tamannah’s navel treat, wet stills and other masala ingredients. Time and again, Allu and team reiterated that it was a commercial treat. Well, the film arrived and has turned out to be a dud. This seems to have woken up the other side of Allu.
Now, the approach has changed and Allu along with the team of ‘Badrinath’ is busy talking about the sanctity of the shrine, teasers in TV channels are focusing on scenes that depict the divinity element. Those who are watching both sides of Allu Aravind are quipping “God has opened Allu Aravind’s eyes” It remains to be seen how much this will open the lids of the box office now.
