The war of words between senior actors Nandamuri Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi has reached a new high when the former pulled up the latter for calling him “childish.”
“Does Chiranjeevi consider himself so big to call me childish? Is it because he is thinking too much of himself that he is bargaining with the Delhi bosses for posts and positions?” he asked.
Balaiah also refused to join the issue with his erstwhile heroine Vijayashanti over her challenge to him on contesting from Telangana. “I am prepared to contest from anywhere, if party orders me. But it is certain that I will contest for the assembly seat in the next elections,” he said.
Balaiah also refused to comment on why Junior NTR had been staying away from party activities all these years. “It is for him to answer such a question. I don’t even know whether he will campaign for the TDP in the next elections or not. But the entire NTR family is committed to bring the TDP back to power,” he asserted.
On his elder sister Purandeshwari’s observations on him, Balaiah said he would not invite her into the TDP. “If she is willing to return to the TDP, we have no objection,” he added.
