
He said “Directors must be given free hand in their work. During earlier days, the atmosphere was quite creative as all of them were cooperative. But today, with heroes fingering and other constraints, many directors are losing interest and that’s the reason we are seeing so many flops.”
With regards to why not many quality heroines are coming, Chalapathi Rao’s answer was “As far as heroines not coming are concerned, why should they come? In software industry, they are getting Rs 1-2 lakhs per month. Why will they show interest in this industry where they should wear short and skimpy outfits for few bucks. There is always the fear of uncertain future.” That’s Chalapathi Rao for you folks.
