Veteran director and former union minister Dasari Narayana Rao may be down but not out. He is going all out to make yet another attempt to prove himself as a successful director with changing times.
Though many of his contemporaries have retired gracefully, Dasari strongly feels he can still hold water. Unfortunately for him, all his recent efforts didn’t bear fruits. But he hasn’t lost his heart and is continuing his relentless struggle.
As a part of that, he recently summoned some of his disciples in direction including Relangi Narasimha Rao, Beeram Masthan Rao and Dhavala Satyam and held day-long discussions on the story that might bring him the past glory back.
The directors tried to find a common thread in the story lines of all his previous hits and develop a new one that could be come handy for him. Perhaps, Dasari may come out with a new film keeping a big star in a lead role, if his disciples settle on the new and different story line
