Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is continuing his “dookudu” both in his words and deeds. And he is not mincing words even if he has to talk about controversial issues within the party.
Speaking to a television channel on Wednesday, Naidu reacted strongly to a question as to why young actor Junior NTR has been kept aside from party activities.
“I make a clear distinction between the party and the family. And nobody is above party. If anybody comes forward to sincerely work for the party, I welcome their services. If anyone acts smart and does not abide by the party principles, I don’t hesitate to keep them aside irrespective of whether he is from the family or not,” Naidu said.
On senior actor Balakrishna, the TDP president said he, too, should work within the framework of the party and its rules and regulations. He, however, ruled out the possibility of Balakrishna contesting the forthcoming by-elections.
“The party will decide from where he would contest the next elections,” Naidu said.
