Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma says Truth and Lies behind a crime fascinates him. He also revealed that the police have suspected some connection between him and the Underworld. "After the release on my film 'Satya' in 1998, many felt that I presented the underworld in a realistic way. Even, some police officers said to me that, they suspected some connection between Me and the Underworld, after watching the film. As in their opinion, a person unfaimiliar with the Underworld couldn't make a film so realistic, to its last detail. But the fact is, I never met a gangster in my life. The truth and lies behind a crime fascinates him," says Ram Gopal Varma. RGV's ready to release film 'Idi Prema Katha Kadu' is based on real life murder of TV Producer Neeraj Grover being killed by model-cum-actress Maria Susairaj and her boyfriend Emil Jerome Mathew. To get the most realistic feel as possible, RGV has shot the film at the same building where the murder has happened. As the flat where murder was commenced is sealed, they went one floor up for shooting. As RGV's films are known to stir controversy before and after the release of his films, wait for the next big thing to happen with 'Idi Prema Katha Kadu'. |
