A senior music director mentioned “Though all are saying Thaman’s tunes are not good, hits are coming and it is working out for him. The main factor is the success graph for him. As such, he has no great contribution except ‘Kick’ but his best weapon is he gives competitive pricing in comparison with Mani Sharma, Devi Sri Prasad or others.”
He added “That is why Thaman is being taken in good number of movies. The other USP is he is in good terms with star heroes and is not concerned about directors or producers. He ensures that he is very close to star heroes and with their recommendations he gets work. Though the directors/producers want to take someone else, the veto power of star heroes gives the blessings for Thaman. He is a big strategist and that too a very successful one.”
