A serious politician needs to have learnt at least basics of the Constitution of India, if not becoming an expert in it. And more so, it is essential for a politician to read the Constitution, before he dreams of reaching higher positions like Chief Minister or a Central Cabinet minister.
Perhaps, keeping this in mind, Praja Rajyam Party leader C Ramachandraiaah, who was newly-inducted as a minister in the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet, presented a copy of the Constitution of India to his boss K Chiranjeevi on the occasion of the Republic Day. The megastar was hoisting the national flag at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank on Thursday.
If he takes the gift in right spirit, Chiranjeevi would realize that it would be of immense use for him to become a mature politician. But one doubts whether he has the patience and interest to go through such a massive book.
