“Choodu, oka vaipey choodu.. rendo vaipu choodalanukoku… thattukolev…maadipothaav..” – was the hysterical punch dialogue of Nandamuri Balakrishna in his blockbuster film “Simha”.
And now, he is using this dialogue against his “political” rival – megastar Chiranjeevi. During his ongoing Visakhpatnam tour, Balakrishna is using this trick of repeating his favourite filmy dialogues to attract the audience. On Monday, Balaiah indirectly made a reference to Chiranjeevi’s comment that he was “childish,” and lashed out at him.
“One gentleman called me “baaludu” (child). Well, he has only seen one side of my personality. He does not know my other side. I will soon show him my other side,” Balaiah said, amidst loud cheers by the gathering around him at a road show in Visakhapatnam.
The Nandamuri hero attacked Chiranjeevi for day-dreaming to become the chief minister of the state. “Such people are not comparable even to the thumbnail of my father N T Rama Rao, who had come to power within nine months of establishing the Telugu Desam Party. On the other hand, the person who dreamt of becoming CM had sold away his party to the Congress,” he criticised.
