'South Scope Or CCL'- They Sell Sex

The age old mantra of the entertainment industry has been ‘sex sells’. While those who followed it smartly made big bucks, there are those who are taking the path now. The reason we say this is due to the changes being noticed even in Tollywood and the focus shifting more towards sex appeal.
 
Sometime back, there was the much hyped South Scope magazine calendar. Some of the top league heroines were seen in hot poses taking inspiration from Kingfisher calendar. Of course, it was not upto that range but to the range of Tollywood, it was good. Though lot of hype for the magazine was created, it has faded.
 
Now, the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) has unveiled its calendar with sexy pictures of heroines. Those who saw this are saying “Whatever it is, the objective is to project themselves as big brands using glamorous heroines because sex sells. As it is, the Telugu audience have a sweet tooth for sex.”
