Hiterto, everybody was under the impression that superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil was a low-profile person and a good boy with no habits. He is not as flamboyant as Nagarjuna or his elder son Naga Chaitanya.
But on Monday, Akhil surprised everybody when he was caught red-handed for drunken driving.
The traffic police interrupted Akhil’s vehicle which was going on at a high speed at Jubilee Bus Stand in Secunderabad in the morning. And to their dismay, he was in an inebriated condition.
The police issued a challan imposing the requisite amount of fine and let him off, but not before the electronic media caught the entire episode. Though it is not a big crime, Akhil unnecessary came under the media glare for wrong reasons.
By the way Akhil is a good racer of Formula One cars and is also a good cricketer. It may be mentioned that Nagarjuna has recently bagged the franchise for i1 Super Series Grand Prix Racing team and Akhil is expected to participate in it. In any case, it is better Akhil keeps away from such controversies.
