It is now more or less established that “Panjaa,” the latest film of power star Pawan Kalyan, is the biggest disaster of a big hero in the Telugu film industry. A week after its release, it is running in a few empty theatres.
There is nothing wrong in Pawan Kalyan as such, as he has given a good performance in the film, but somehow the film could not gel with the audiences.
In fact, it was because of Pawan Kalyan’s craze among his fans that the film could make some collections in the first three days, but at the end of the week, it is now clear that the project has not got into the safe zone, though the producers still claim that it has not reasonably good business. The empty theatres speak for themselves.
Sources from theatres say the producers are, in fact, losing money from their shares to run the film at least in a few theatres for a few weeks. As there is no income from the crowds, the producers are paying from their pockets for the theatre rentals.
One must accept the fact: the film is suffering heavy losses. But if the producers try to cover up and create an artificial demand for the film, then it does not take much time for the film to get into the records as the biggest disaster in terms of business.
