We all know about Tom and Jerry. Now something of that sort is going on between a young director and Emperor Ramoji Rao. While Ramoji is Tom, the young director is Jerry here. Let us get into the details.
It is often heard in the film nagar circles that actor/director Allari Ravi Babu is talented but very arrogant and expects creative freedom in top degree. Apparently, when Ravi Babu came up with Nachchavule and approached the Usha Kiron banner owned by Ramoji Rao, it is heard that he had to go through their strong rules. Incidentally, there are layers of story committees in Usha Kiron and all of them should approve only then the film will hit the floors. That is why not many show interest in associating with Usha Kiron, especially established directors but Ravi Babu managed to get the final approval. Showing his talent and command Ravi Babu could do Nachchavule with full freedom without the involvement of any other person. Ravi should thank Kiron, the elder son of Ramoji, for that. Well, that is history.
However, sources say that when Ramoji Rao watched first print of ‘Nachchavule’, he said it was trash and must be thrown in dustbin. But Kiron took that to release and that became a super hit. This got Ramoji’s foot in his mouth. Now, it is heard that Ravi Babu is doing another project with Usha Kiron movies once again.
Ramoji is not willing to involve into the project at any point. All that he wants is a hit. If Ravi Babu makes a hit Ramoji will be silent as usual. If he gives a flop then he will ride on his story and operations team.
