Young Hero Became 'Workless Barber'

There is a saying in Telugu ‘panileni mangali pilli thala gorigaadu’ (workless barber trimmed hair on Cat’s head).

Film Nagar people are tagging this line to a young hero. The hero is topic is Venkee Atluri, who debuted with the film ‘Sneha Geetham’. This guy is multifaceted with talents beyond acting. There is a script writer cum director in him. He made a short film as he is not busy with acting.

A new wave of film makers are hitting in the Indian cinema and that trend is yet to pick up in the Tollywood circuit. However, here Venkee seems to be spearheading that thought with his approach towards film making.

Recently, he came up with a short film titled ‘Vadha’. The teaser has been making strong rounds in the internet and those who saw the rushes reveal that it is a short film made on feature film standards. The intensity and the quality of the film making is worth appreciating. The cine folks say it is only a matter of time before this multi-talented individual will shine and prove his mettle.

This short film shows direction for aspiring short film makers in the matter of standards of making (esp the scene with politician).
