Puri Jagannadh Becomes Sri Krishnadevaraya

Puri Jagannadh is one man who is known for his movies and unconventional approach towards taking and script. While that has been his regular trademark, it is now heard that he has got a new title – The Krishnadevaraya of Tollywood. Wondering why? Well, here is the story.

It is heard that every evening, many poets and artists come to Puri’s office which is located at Madhapur. They have a ‘Darbar’ and all will be sharing their ideas, knowledge, jokes etc. with each other. Long back, it was the king Krishnadevaraya who had similar ‘Darbars’ at the end of the day.

A regular visitor to his office revealed “Puri’s spacious office itself is like Hampi, the floor upstairs is like Bhuvanavijayam.” Those who heard this are saying “Poets and artists visiting is okay. Krishnadevaraya used to have Raja Nartakis as well, Is Puri also having them in his Darbar? Who knows….maybe he must be having them too.”
