'Damarukam' Inspired From 'Immortals Of Meluha'

You already know that Nagarjuna is currently busy with the shaping up of the film ‘Damarukam’. But did you know that the line of this flick is actually an inspiration from another source? Yes, say few inside sources associated with the project. This is being directed by Srinivasa Reddy.

Now, buzz is that ‘Damarukam’ has taken a strong lead from the famous book ‘Immortals Of Meluha’. Written by the famous Amish Tripathi, it is a trilogy which runs on the essence of Shiva and the concept is that all gods were once human beings. It is their deeds that made them as Gods.

Given the hero worship that happens in Tollywood, the cine folks say the chances of this being true is very strong. However, the challenge here is to execute the film in such a larger than life manner and with the right kind of nativity for the audience to connect. Only the film’s release will reveal the truth.
