| Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly one of the major stars in entire South Indian film industry. His star power never went down despite giving numerous flops. But that looks like history now as buyers are slowly losing faith in Pawan’s script selection. Although he is a big star at the box office, Pawan is not converting that stardom into success. With back to back disasters Puli and Teenmaar, Pawan Kalyan’s next film is not having any business craze. Tentatively titled Shadow, this film is directed by a Tamilian Vishnuvardhan. Pawan’s choice of directors too is reason for his diminishing stardom. He is deliberately ignoring star directors like Rajamouli, Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh. We can recall that the only one hit that Pawan got in the last decade was Jalsa and it is directed by one of the frontline directors of Telugu cinema, Trivikram! Even then Pawan doesn’t realize the value of working with star technicians and he is paying big price for it now. We came to know that buyers are not showing interest in Pawan’s other film Gabbar Singh too. Wake up Pawan, or else you will have to sleep forever. |
