Superstar Rajinikanth has been suffering from serious illness since the day his latest movie 'Rana' was launched. Right now he is being treated at Rama Chandra hospital in Chennai. Doctors advised the star to stay in hospital for three more days as he is suffering from lung infection and gastro intestinal problems.
Sources from Tamilnadu say that Rajinikanth suddenly fell ill because he went on a strict diet for two months to suit the character in 'Rana'. That has shown severe affect on his digestive system and he is now slowly recovering from it.
Meanwhile, Rajini's family members released a press statement that the star is absolutely fine and there is no need to worry. There were rumors about his death a couple of days ago which created panic among his fans.
